Mother Hubbard Cupboard and Good Shepherd work together to feed the hungry in our area. Since Good Shepherd serves hot meals and Mother Hubbard's bridges the gap in people's pantries and refrigerators, we often exchange foods that work best for each mission. I volunteered for a year at the Good Shepherd Center night shelter a few years ago. I enjoyed it so much! The staff were wonderful the guests were wonderful. I had an awesome experience. I would recommend volunteering at the Good Shepherd to anyone who would like to work with homeless individuals and families.

I was there in 2011. Lost the job I had and had nowhere to stay. They took me in and treated me with respect. They never looked down on me. I am thankful for this place.
