I do not usually leave a review when I'm upset with the out come. I had to wait for a couple of months. BUT this needs to be out there. I went to the usual Banfield hospital. They do not do CCL. Over five hundred dollars later I would have to go to a different place. Calling around and not a happy camper or maybe I don't trust too many ppl when it comes to my pet, i went to reidsville and didnt get a warm fuzzy feeling. I went to Stoney creek and did. Wish I didnt. The price was a big issue for me since I'm retired. Went through it all and we did the surgery with there were no guarantee. I picked up my pumpkin head and he had an abrasion on his lower lip. Ok, it will heal. Nope, he now has a permanent lump or pimple of skin on his chin. They wanted him back the next day and did therapy on his knee without telling me it would cost more. Well, of course i had to pay, but I didn't have a choice. The stitches popped about 2 weeks later and had to go back. They stapled it back together no biggie. So I thought. Wrong, later at the appropriate time they took out the stitches and the staple, and it was an open sore. Apparently, they stapled put in was NOT correct and now he has an open sore. So so angry. But I can get him on the right track, took care of it myself and it healed correctly. I refuse to take him back there for therapy. Looked up online for therapy and did it that way. He now has a limp, a big wide scar down his leg and he can no longer stand for long periods of time. Buyer beware.

Stoney Creek goes above and beyond all my expectations of what a "perfect" veterinary practice should be. I’m truly grateful for the recommendation that led me to Stoney Creek.

I rarely post reviews, but I am beyond upset and frustrated at this clinic. My dog had a stroke and spent a week in ICU at Carolina Vet Specialists (CVS) in Winston before coming home. We quickly realized we needed help and called this facility the day after we brought our baby home. They stated to get started, they need all records sent to them from CVS and our primary vet. I called and had this immediately done. After an hour, I called Stoney Creek back to confirm they received everything they needed - they confirmed and I was told that once all the records were reviewed by the rehab staff, they would reach out. No timeline given. I called back several times over the next couple days and was told they'll get back to me as soon as they've had time to go over the records. This process started Wednesday, January 31st. Here is is, MONDAY, FEBRUARY 12 and I have YET to have anyone reach out. Don't bother with this place that cares so little they can't even be bothered to call back with even "bad news of not having time/room/whatever".Update: It took a negative review to receive a response here and a voicemail. I'm NOW being told the rehab doctor is out of the office for the first part of this month. Sooooooo, was that piece of information not known when I was calling at the beginning of this month? That information should have been told to me when I initiated contact - NOT two weeks and a negative review later. This still shows poor taste and a lack of care from the staff. Why would I want to put my dog in the hands of a facility that has shown this type of character from the VERY beginning, much less give them any of my money?

I am beyond thankful for the staff at Stoney Creek Animal Hospital. We were so upset and about to make the decision to put our dog down due to a few health issues. The biggest issue was we thought she had cancer. I called and Holly answered, I was barely able to get through the conversation and she was very calming and sweet and set up a quality of life visit.. found out the huge place on her chest was not cancer! That was such a relief.. I know she’s 14 and having other issues with her legs but Dr. Karen was awesome and recommend a harness for her back legs. That was a huge weight lifted off me. I can’t thank Holly and Dr. Karen for being there and being so compassionate during this hard time.

I love this vet!! They were all booked up for a month and when I called about my Guinea pig, they knew she couldn’t wait to be seen. They told me to come today and bring her in and drop her off and they will see her when they can to make sure she can be seen immediately due to the severity of the situation. They even let me bring her best friend bc they are extremely depressed anytime my piggies are away from one another! So pumpkin was able to feel more comfortable not being by herself and she wasn’t as scared bc she had spooky with her. This vet hospital really cared about her well being to make sure she will be ok. I had dropped her off and within 2 hours, the Dr was calling me to come pick her up and explained what was going on. He treated her there and gave me medication to take home for her. He was very informative. They answered all of my questions happily. Everyone there, the entire staff were so sweet and I could tell they all genuinely cared. I’ve never had to drop a pet off at the vet so I was very hesitant at first. But now, I trust this Vet 100% and I know they will do everything they can to save my pet without trying to make me spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars. They only do what is absolutely necessary for your pet and if worst comes to worst, then they will do the more expensive treatments such as surgery , hospitalization, etc. I’m so glad I took Pumpkin here. This is now my official vet for all of my pets. God Bless Them!

This was our first visit but we will defiantly be returning! We made an appointment due to the fact they take exotic pets such as reptiles as well as domestic pets and we have both. They were very friendly and caring and you can tell that as soon as we walked in. Thank you for making our experience a good one! See you again soon!

The service and employees are both incredible for exotics! The prices are great, they've treated my python very well, and I will very happily recommend others if you're looking for an exotic vet with knowledge in reptiles. Thank you guys so much :)

Dr Karen was amazing with my pup Leia! She took great time in educating me - while distracting Leia from her shots that day! It means the absolute world to Leia and I both!

While they appear friendly on the surface... the surface is deceiving.1. This hospital does not return after hours emergency calls.2. They obviously only care about the money. I called to change the appointment day for my dogs recheck, as I have an unexpected trip the day of the original appointment. I was told it wouuld be a different vet and therefore they would charge me for a full visit. Even though it's the same vet clinic - the second vet would charge me for a full visit instead of just the recheck swab. Why? I asked. Because it's a different vet.3. The original vet put medicine in my dogs ears. She said if ANYTHING changes, if her equal librium is off if she's unbalanced or anything out of the ordinary happens, bring her back in.I called 4 days later because she was throwing up blood. The bulldog they have as a receptionist tells me "the earliest appointment I have is Thursday." That was 4 days later. I stated again, my dog is throwing up blood, the vet said bring her in immediately if something out of the ordinary is going on. Shes throwing up blood. The receptionist says " you can take her to an emergency vet or bring her in Thursday.4. I was told quite rudely that Stoney Creek does not see emergency cases. All of this has shown me that this is not a vet clinic that cares about the animals. It's a business that's in it for the all mighty $$I have changed vets. If you don't care about my pets, then you won't have the money I am willing to spend to keep them healthy and alive.Stoney Creek Veternary is a one star
