Clean, well stocked, courteous service, friendly cashiers. We lit, clean bathrooms, Their prices are good, but not the lowest, but we can overlook that because the cleanliness and professionalism make it a wonderful place to shop.

Unfortunately has gone downhill in the more recent years. A lot of teenagers working with bad attitudes. However, several do stand out and still have good work ethic. I’ve been a longtime supporter of this store but it has gone downhill since Mark retired. I know following the pandemic it’s been hard to find good help but I waited in line for about 10 minutes patiently for the teenage cashier to tell me to go to another line because he was closing to go on break. His light was on when I got in line so he should’ve taken me first and then went on his break as there was only me with a small cart and nobody else behind me.
I ended up at a register at the other side with another teenage female who was very unfriendly and not genuine. She actually seemed to be mocking me when I was being kind (I counted out exact change and handed it to her, making it super easy). I did not get either of their names or I would have included them in this review. I really appreciated the teenage boy with glasses and a hat on that was rounding up carts in the parking lot. He was very friendly and kind. He took my
cart from me with a smile after I loaded my groceries into the car.
I’m usually not one to complain but as someone who worked in Customer Service in the past- actually at this particular store for 7 years. We were held to high standards and treated customers with respect.
I wanted to share my experience with hopes that these young people will develop and are encouraged to have a better work ethic in the future. I do not know the current management aside from Brenda and Rachel who do an excellent job.

Soooooo many organic products!! Even organic cleaning supplies! Love the salad, food bars. One of my favorite stores second only to Wegmans!

The staff (Ashley) is rude to a point that I feel compelled to give one star. Why pay more for poor customer service when there are cheaper grocery options locally? I will not spend money here again.

I typically love Ingles and do what I can to shop here. While in here this evening (7.7.24) my toddler threw a container of chocolate covered cashews on the floor. I picked them up and brought them to the register to let so know so they didn't get put back on the shelf. The cashier, Caleb D, said "don't worry about it, you can just go put them back on the shelf". I further explained, they were all over the floor and didn't need to be put back. He continued arguing that he would put them back. So I went to tell a lady in customer service. She more so brushed it off and did not seem concerned as she saw him throw them out. I'm glad he threw them out, but the issue of him arguing about needed addressed. I understand this happens in most grocery stores but that doesn't give this a pass. I am pregnant, and I don't need to worry about shopping at a store that I question if what I'm eating is safe to eat and could harm my baby because they put something dirty back on the shelf. After all this, I let my husband finish checking out and waited near the front with my toddler. He then started questioning "where'd the girl go" and kept questioning my husband why me and my toddler had disappeared. This is more so beside the point but also just adds to it. It's absolutely ridiculous that this was even an argument. People need to think of others and what could possibly harm them or a baby when they think "eh, I'll just put it back on the shelf, no one will know".

Shopped there 3 times while visiting. First 2 where good. Found out the self checkout lane will automatically give you the membership card. Third trip in watched someone just say this cereal is on sale just don't know what the price was. Cashier called over manager who was running the cash register behind her. He gave her the cereal for free. We didn't have a membership card and they refused to use something to help us out. Sad

Very clean and nice grocery store. Plenty of selection. Great meat case and selection. Prices are a little higher than Food Lion. Especially if you're not getting sale items. But very convenient location for me. Very nice staff, especially cashiers.
