Amber was amazing. She took her time and it proved to be the best haircut I have gotten in years. It is SOOOO hard to find someone who listens, who doesn't give you a "fast-food" 15 minute cut, someone who trims off exactly the length you ask for. And she is very personable and easy to talk to. If you need that stylist, Amber is your girl. And if you have a super curly mop like me and struggle to find a stylist who doesn't know how to cut it, she already knows what to do. Will definitely be going back.

I have been a client at platinum hair bar prior before but went back to my natural color. After coming home from college for summer I decided that I wanted to add some blonde highlights to brighten my hair. At one point I was bleach blonde and it just was not for me. I was very nervous for my appointment because I had fears that the hair I envisioned was unattainable. I wanted to still be brunette but just add a little pop of blonde. My stylist Tanya made sure she understood exactly what I wanted and was very open about how much everything would cost in order to meet my expectations. Tanya went above and beyond! I am so obsessed with my hair. The highlights blend in perfectly and she did my money pieces exactly how I asked. I am so pleased with my hair and how it turned out. I would definitely recommend platinum hair bar and asking for Tanya!

Michelle, you are a magnificent hair artist! Your eye for color completely exceeded my expectations. The Hairdreams extensions have changed my life. I cannot believe I didn’t do this sooner. $398 for highlights and root smudge?? Very disappointed in the amount I was charged today for highlights and root smudge and feel it was quite exorbitant for this area and what I received was not at all at any level to justify. My appointment was for full highlights and root smudge. I consider this salon nice but not high end and though the person who did my service is very sweet and did a great job the previous time I visited, they are more junior level. When I asked for the breakdown of my charges, they had a hard time providing them but said I was charged for a haircut, highlights, toner and root color. I did not get a haircut so I said oh, I didn't get a haircut so you need to take that off so they said they would refund $30 which is odd because a haircut is $60. After asked for a call from the manager who wasn't available while I was there, I found that they charged foil highlights ($265), a toner ($45) and $76 for a little root cover at the bowl. I have barely shoulder length hair. The manager wasn't clear on what was charged either so she was going to give me a call back but never did. My total bill with the refund was $365. What's worse is that I have to have it redone. The highlights were not allowed to lift enough and the toner was nothing like what i like or looks good on me. The roots are not dark enough and turned out looking like 'hot roots', nothing like the root smudge I had previously. I hate this happened. This is simply unaffordable even if it were a great color but it was nothing like what I had done before, which I what i asked for when I sat down. Also, I would have probably split up the service or possibly changed to partial highlight had I known the toner wasn't included with the highlight service. After all, you generally don't have one without the other. And, I would've decided to go elsewhere altogether if I had known they charge $76 for root coverage at the bowl with your highlight.

This was my first time visiting Platinum Hair Bar and I had the pleasure of having Hannah cut and color my hair! Hannah was so sweet and easy to talk to. I showed her inspo pictures of what I was looking for and she took the time to understand what I wanted. She was surprised to learn how much hair I had even though it doesn't look as thick as it is but she was super patient with the whole process. I had some concerns about a couple of spots that seemed to overprocess and didn't pick up much of the toner so I reached out to her and she had me back in a couple of days later! I'm super happy with how it looks and appreciate her kindness and understanding! :)

Amber was great but the studios policies seem a bit crazy. I wanted extra foils during my highlight session, was told 8 foil and that was fine! Went to check out and was charged 25 more for highlight cream/product so paid 73 for 6 foils. I think it is the owners policy so not Amber's fault but that is why on a Friday they were dead as a doornail and had no business. Hard to swallow that price for 6 extra highlight foils. Good luck but if you want repeat busines stop the madness!

Hannah S was amazing. My hair was damaged from bleach and heat. Hannah cut my hair in a pretty style, which allowed me to keep as much hair as I could. Great experience. I will be back

Alexis is the bomb dot com. I've used her twice now and both times I've loved her cuts! I cut off quite a bit of hair both times and had her add some sweeping side bangs as well. She listens and tweaks and adjusts as she goes. I was able to play with my hair and we decided together if anything else needed tweaking from there. She noticed things I didn't, and I requested small tweaks too. Already looking forward to seeing her again in a few months!Services: Blowouts

I asked for a short haircut....asked a second time to cut it shorter....was told this is a great look for you.....a few days later I went back and asked how much to cut it shorter....was told I had to pay another ridiculous fee. They tried to be helpful. It wasn't what I asked as I needed it short so it was easy to take care of....Service: Hairstyling

I had come here in the past a few years ago for styling, but haven't ever gotten a haircut. I called them extremely last minute, and they said they were able to fit me in with a lady named Karen. As soon as I walked in, I was seen immediately and sat in the chair. Karen was super sweet and was asking me many questions to be exact about what I wanted. I asked for a 90's layered look and blowout, and it was so beautiful! I love my haircut!! She trimmed my bangs perfectly and gave me such lovely layers. I haven't ever had this haircut before, so I was a little skeptical about how it would look, and she did a great job! 10/10 haircut, and excellent service.
