Furnished and entire cabin from here. Emily helped us through the selections and made sure that we were happy with the selections. Prices were fair and furniture was delivered in less than 6 weeks from date of purchase. This was huge to us as we were still waiting on other furniture ordered 9 months to a year earlier. Thank you high country furniture and epically Emily.

I called a head to reserve a desk and was assured it would be held for me. I drove 1.5 hours from Tennessee to the store to pick it up and as I stood there and told the sales lady I would take it, she said great and started writing up the ticket. So I went to look around and 5 minutes later, she walked up and said, “I’m sorry but I was just informed that the desk has just sold to some people looking at it now”. I was blown away that they actually sold the desk out from under me while I was standing in the store.My second experience with this company was an $18,000+ purchase of furniture on June 1st. Delivery was guaranteed the first week of august. I received my furniture on November 20th.I own over 40 rental properties and was actually shopping to refurnish each and everyone one these properties. I wanted to use a local furniture store but these guys failed miserably in treating me like a customer should be treated. The gentleman who is the manager and a few of the sales ladies are in it for nothing but the money and they’ll tell you whatever they want as to get your money as quick as possible.I do not trust this company and will never do business with them again. They lost a $250k furniture purchase which I placed two weeks later at a nearby competitor where I was treated with honesty and dignity.I hate to write a negative review on anyone, but this company and especially its manager earned it. I have never been treated so unprofessionally before. Such is life as I moved on and found another to do business with.

I LOVE High Country Furniture! I look forward to their ever changing inventory. We have purchased many items there and I am extremely pleased with my experiences. I am so sad to see that Margaret has retired as she has been my go to person for many years. When a coffee table came in and wasn't right, she immediately got on the case and got us the correct one even in these times. Great store.

Ordered a chair in August, was told to expect delivery in October. Went into the store early November and was told it would be in by the end of November, called today 12 /28 and was told hopefully by May 2022. Deposit made of $650. Asked to speak to the manager at 1 pm = nothing. Unacceptable.

Do not go to this store. If you do, don't deal with Margaret. She gave me a price for blinds and when I told her that was too expensive, she sent me a new quote that was much less expensive. I asked her if this quote included my entire home because the difference in price was significant. She said that the new price did in fact include my entire home. I drove 11 hours to my new home to have the blinds installed only to find out she did not include the upstairs of my home. After I spoke with her I was sent an estimate to do the upstairs that brought my total higher than the original estimate she gave me that I turned down. She did nothing to work with me on this price after straight up lying to me. Also, before she did this to me, we wanted to order furniture from her. The only way she would order anything is if you paid IN FULL at the time you ordered. She would not take a deposit and then allow you to pay the balance on delivery. When my furniture was delivered a nightstand was not included. Of course she did not bother to call ahead to tell me this. We actually spoke on the phone when the furniture came in & she did not mention a word. She just ordered another one without even asking me. When I questioned her, she told me it would not be in until mid-late December. I can't wait until then. So, I had to call and get a refund. Linda in accounting was very kind and gave me a refund right away. If I had been allowed to pay a deposit and pay the balance on delivery, this would have been much easier for me. Margaret is dishonest and tricky. She had my entire home measured, lowered the price by telling the blinds department to hold off on my upstairs without my permission to do this. She figured that once half of my home was done I'd be forced to take her price on the upstairs. She is unbelievable!! I called and reported her to Hunter Douglas. They are now working with me via a different company in the area and they are being completely transparent with me. In addition to this review, I have written to the BBB and Chamber of Commerce. DON'T let these folks fool you with their small town garb. There are better places and better people to deal with.

Best furniture around. Sandra at this location was of immense help. She actually came out to my new house, measured and figured out what I needed so it was beautiful and functional. She incorporated the pieces of furniture I had that could be used in the new scheme and suggested additions. I ended up getting four bedrooms a living room and loft area completely furnished. She was no pressure and it was a wonderful experience. The furniture can be a bit pricey but the end result was totally worth it. The even took my glass doors of the hinges and put them back to get the elk chandelier in when it wouldn't fit. I will go here in the future for all my furniture needs.

I have bought many pieces from High Country. They have everything for the cabin and lodge decor. Recently I have bought a pool table from them. And I love it. The salesperson there was beyond the best.

There are two stores, the main showroom on Dellwood Ave, and then a smaller store on Main Street in Waynesville.I've been in there a few times over the last six months or so; and have never felt pressured to buy what's on the floor. In fact, the first time at the Main Street store, they did not have what I was looking for. So, the sales person sent me over to the Dellwood Ave location; and I wound up dealing with their parent. Weird and cool at the same time.BOTH of them are really great and easy to deal with, and now, I ask for them first. Anyhow, if you're looking for some quality furniture, I would suggest a visit.
