My favorite gallery in Waynesville! The pottery collection is fabulous & so is the owner! We stay near Waynesville 4-5 times each year & I shop this gallery each time adding to my pottery collection! On my way there today!

Green Hill Gallery is my “go to” place for gifts for all occasions. Joyce has an exceptional selection of gorgeous pottery, jewelry, paintings and prints, fabric art and handmade cards. The gallery is thoughtfully arranged in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere and there is never any pressure to hurry. Joyce greets every customer warmly and sincerely and invites them in for a wonderfully eclectic artistic experience. My weakness is pottery and, to reward myself at Christmas time, I ordered a set of red Paul and Evelyn Ray pottery dishes to replace my forty year old ones. (I will try to attach a photo). Joyce handled everything for me including driving to Seagrove, NC to pick up them and some new pottery for the gallery…great customer service!If you are in the Waynesville area, I highly encourage you to stop in and visit Green Hill Gallery. If you have time for only one boutique in Waynesville, make it the Green Hill Gallery! The selection of pottery is wonderful and the photography available for purchase is a breathtaking selection of the finest sights of the Smokey Mountains. The owner Joyce is a delight and greets everyone with the warmest smile and genuine friendliness. It's not a visit to North Carolina without visiting Joyce and Green Hill Gallery.

My friend and I stopped in Waynesville on our way home to Virginia and discovered your wonderful little shop. I was quite taken with the selection of pottery pieces offered and walked out with two new favorites. I had to come back later for a third piece for my friend’s birthday. Thank you so much! We will be back next year!

This was my first visit to Waynesville, NC and it definitely won't be my last. The morning started with a tasty Americano to-go from Orchard Coffee Co. then I headed to Main Street to find local art at Green Hill Gallery. I was greeted by the cheery welcoming owner who was eager to answer any questions I had - and I had many. If you collect pottery you'll have plenty to choose from, with an abundant collection of decorative and functional pieces in various styles and colors. I couldn't resist taking home a unique soap dispenser with attached bowl, in a gorgeous glaze, for my kitchen. The quality of the work represented here was very nice and the price point was quite reasonable. If I were local this would be my go-t gift shop. I will make it a point return to downtown Waynesville to revisit this gallery. The owner also referred me to Twigs & Leaves Gallery, which was greatly appreciated. It's good to not only see businesses working to promote and support each other, but go the extra mile to add to the visitor's experience. If you appreciate art, put this one on your must stop list.
