The service for my Jeep went fine. However my Jeep is a lemon.

My current and previous car from here are both good cars. However, dealing with Autostar resulted in several issues and I can't recommend going here for business.
The salesman forgot one of the documents I needed to sign, and said he would meet me at my job to complete it. I texted him back saying I would go to the dealership. He drove to my job anyway and waited in the parking lot for me, after asking my bosses where I was. I did not ever give him permission to meet me at my job, and that is overstepping boundaries.
They sold me my current car with a battery that was rusted over. Because I didn't pop the hood at the dealership I had no proof of it.
The car was also sold to me with windows tinted too dark for the state of NC. Therefore, they sold me a car that automatically failed inspection.
I booked a service appointment online for 9:00, was sent a confirmation text for 9:00, then I arrived and they had me down for 9:30, so I had to wait.
Both of my air filters needed changing, I was told one would be around $50.00 and the other $75.00. I went to Advance Auto and paid $50.00ish total for both, then changed them myself.
I love the Subaru I bought from here, but this level of Service is unacceptable to me.

Every time we need our Jeep serviced I call and service employees are always so polite and helpful. They ask when my schedule would best and accommodate me to the best of there ability. When we arrive for our appointment, our Jeep is taken right in and we are able to wait in a very relaxing and comfortable waiting area. They have an information center with a computer set up, a flat screen tv, and complimentary Wi-Fi. When our vehicle is ready they come to us in the waiting area and go over what was needed and the lady at the check out counter is really sweet and professional. Wonderful experience each time.

Worst place ever. Keep you car for months and still not fixed. Never go here.

Tracie Massie was a GREAT SERVICE ADVISOR! I've had my car there for repairs and it's unfortunate I will not be returning. It's never advisable to let technicians run the shop and terminate Tracies employment. Your technician may be there but your advisors sell the business.

Wish I could give negative stars..Had my vehicle 2020 Ram 1500 towed there because it would not start they kept it several days charge me $150 diagnostic fee and told me there was nothing wrong with my truck. They obviously did not check the starter because it is back in the shop less than a month later with the same problem and it is the starter!! because this new shop actually checked the starter, do not have your vehicle serviced here they do not know what they’re doing obviously!!! while my vehicle was there not getting fixed, had three sales people call me wanting me to trade in nothing but a scam place of business!!

They got us in faster than the dealership in Asheville for a recall issue but then they absolutely took us to town on fuel filters and DEF. We have two little babies and things get hectic so when they called and said our AC fluid was low we said sure, top it off. The receipt said AC die so I ran the PIN... they charged me $90 for 2 gallons of DEF. They charged me $229.99 for parts for two fuel filters that through Mopar are $100 for the set. Ultimately it's my fault for not grilling about prices and trusting a dealership not to take my wallet for a ride, but know that going in if you bring your vehicle here. Smh. If 2 fuel filters and 2 gallons of DEF is worth $520 to you, give them a call. Otherwise..... yikes

I'm happy with the service. But bring your checkbook. They charge I think 3 or 3.5% if you use a credit card yet don't disclose this when making an appt. If you get there and wait for your vehicle to be service and don't have cash or check you will have to pay this huge extra fee. I think they should disclose this when making an an appt.

I am traveling from Colorado to New Hampshire (via North Carolina) for a long road trip. I am pulling my travel trailer. 4 days into my trip, I noticed there was an issue with my new Ram 1500. Long story short is it was a defective wheel bearing. I called AutoStar - Waynesville to let them know I was having issues and was told I could bring it right in. I was greeted by Brian and he took care of everything. The issue was diagnosed, parts were ordered, and my truck was repaired. Unfortunately had to wait for parts and was here 9 days longer than I planned to be but there is so much to do in the area that I never got bored so it’s all good.
I am very happy with this dealership. Everyone was super helpful and very friendly. But a big shout out to Brian for coordinating everything and keeping me informed.
