When I was in the market for my lawn equipment, I was able to discuss my needs with Peter D and he was more than helpful, he was knowledgeable and recommended what I needed. Thank you Peter for steering me in the right direction, I have no need to go elsewhere!

I have been using triad for years. Pat in the parts department has always been on point! He has always gone out of his way to make sure I have what I need, including follow ups! Words can’t describe how happy I am with Pat and the folks at triad! Excellent job y’all!

At Triad, they argue with you about miscommunications made on the phone to the point where a guy will point his finger and continuously repeat that they heard something different on the phone despite the fact that regardless of the miscommunication, the made up issue is not an issue at all because they have the necessary equipment available, so trying to start a yelling match just makes your customer service look damn bad from the beginning. They make you thumbprint dispite having your State ID and Credit card on file and then check you trucks registration on your way out apparently because they've been roobed before and you obviously look suspicious. They stress how you are liable for damages to their equipment, all while renting out broken trailers to carry their equipment. They cost you valuable time in your day to correct their mistakes. When returning equipment, there is no mention of broken trailer incident but they didn't charge me, rightfully so.Biggest disappointment is that they were referred to me by another equipment rental company in Durham that I have worked with in the past and were recommended because of their proximity to the 11.5 acres that I'm purchasing in Warren County. I was told to purchase from Triad since they sell the equipment that I planned on buying once my loan closed. After this initial experience, I would never spend my hard earned money with the likes of those that run this business. When I told the business in Durham of my experience with them, they shook their head and said that my experience was not uncommon.HORRIBLE customer service from the beginning. Even worse service in between. Finished with overall terrible service. If you "look suspicious" then I wouldn't advise you to spend money nor time with this place. There are other places to rent from and I would absolutely choose them first.BELIEVE THE REVIEWS ABOUT CUSTOMER SEVICE. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS BUSINESS.

The general manager was very understanding, supportive, and caring. Fixed the issue I encountered and went above and beyond to make sure i was satisfied and able to complete the job. Brought a replacement out an hour away and even gave me a discount to assure good reputation. Best rental experience, will drive a hour there anytime I need a rental just because there good people, do good business, and have a good standing reputation with me. First good review Iv ever left and they've earned it 1000%.

I see many favorable comments on the customer service at Triad. Unfortunately, I have not had similar experiences. My Hustler commercial grade mower has had six issues that stopped my mowing and I had to bring it in since I purchased it a year ago. The first three were in the first ten hours. Since I didn't have a trailer at the time the sales guy came and picked it up. Service department said they couldn't help, I went and talked to sales. Service department won't take appointments, you have to drop the mower off and they give a two week wait estimate. My mower doesn't break down when I'm done mowing. I asked what do I do while it's in the shop for up to two weeks and was told I could rent one. My mower is in now in for a repeat warranty issue that apparently wasn't fixed correctly a couple months ago. And to make it more frustrating I have to pay for the initial service and they haven't even looked at the mower. It's sitting outside waiting. I called today to get an update. It's not been touched, he can't tell me when it will be but he hopes yet this week (which is the second week). So my experience is frustrating. Both with the service department and with the reliability of the commercial grade mower. I only mow about 10 acres per week. In the first year I only put on about 170 hours, which I don't believe to be heavy usage.

The only company in America that will NOT take a credit card over the phone! My assistant drove down from Vance county to pick up a piece of rental equipment for a nonprofit organization, when I tried to pay over the phone we were told they they could not take payment that way. This is the only business I have dealt with that will not do this! Very disappointing and will probably go out of my way to use other rental companies.
