Beware! MASSAGE ENVY in Wake Forest is SHADY!Once they get your credit card, good luck cancelling future monthly charges. Tried to cancel in January this year and mysteriously my paperwork I signed at their location was “lost”. When I found out in March it was still hitting my credit card, I let it go because I figured I’d stop it later and take screenshots to prove. Then I put a hold on the account in June because I had too many services I had yet to use (but I learned you can’t use services while account is on hold apparently …really???), and they contacted me in September saying my credit card wouldn’t work (because it had been compromised so I got a new number). I told them I wanted to close the account anyway because I couldn’t use the services I had wracked up so I was good. Now they won’t let me use my services because they say I owe them another month beginning sept 28th. I went in to close the account (again) and at the time, I told them to take one of my monthly services as final payment (which they apparently did) but 4 days later no suspension lifted and no contact from “management”. Apparently management is never there or available and never return messages.It was only serendipity that my card number changed so I could untangle myself from their financial grip….now they want my new card number to release my services….hell to the NO!!!One they get your card, GOOD LUCK stopping the recurring charges and know they change their policies at whim. Go elsewhere! You’ll thank me!!

Chris did a wonderful job with my deep tissue massage. He really concentrated on the areas we spoke about before the massage. The office definitely works at trying to sell you a package although you don’t have to have one to enjoy a massage here.

I'm not sure what her name is, but one of their employees is this absolutely crazy lady. She has called the police on different people repeatedly for going 15 or 20mph on the access rd behind the store!! Not so that no one gets runover but so that the stray cats ? that she keeps feeding by the dumpsters behind her work don't get hit.!! I said take them home and de worm them if you care! This road is for shipments and supplies to be brought in and out of the neighborhoring stores. The cops are even tired of hearing it frankly they have much more important things to do than pull your stray cat out of the road lady.

WAS not impressed the therapist was late and kept me waiting. I had to ask did the therapist forget about me. Someone could have acknowledged me to say they will be right with me.

This was my 1st time using Massage Envy as I have a regular masseuse back in Cincinnati... but it had been over a month since my last therapeutic massage and I had spinal fusion back in September 2022... so I really needed a massage. Fortunately, Queeney did a great job! ? Very good pressure. Professional, polite and nice conversation. It was a great 1st experience and I feel more comfortable using Massage Envy the next time we're away from Cincinnati and I need a massage.

Me and my mom went to massage envy for a total of probably 4 or 5 years. We both cancelled since their prices have gone up so much. My moms last massage was scheduled for tomorrow and she had an emergency come up. She called to give it to my daughter, her granddaughter, and knew she would have to pay the extra fee to do so because that’s what we have done in the past. Well no they wouldn’t allow it. That massage has been paid for and there is no reason they couldn’t do that. So don’t go here. They will not work with you at all even in emergency situations.

DON'T GO HERE!!!! What kind of good practice place take money repeatedly after you paid the entire membership on time and completely, now take more money after the pay in period, just because you haven't used the sessions you already paid for fast enough? So they are double dipping and using our hard earned money unfairly and without any care. Once i complained they gave me a cancelation paperwork and say i now have to forfeit the sessions already paid just because i don't want to get charged anymore. Don't pay for a membership with this company because they don't care and will continue to charge you even after cancelation.

They talked and tried to sell you their membership and products the entire time and when you do sign up for their membership, they try to continue selling you stuff. The worst part is when you cancel your membership with hours and hours of credits, they will delete them, and you will never be able to take advantage of what you’ve already paid, for I would truly do not suggest that you go to massage envy, and more importantly sign up for their membership program.

They were deceptive and manipulative. I was given a massage credit. When it came time to check out, they wouldn't except the credit bc the account has 2 names and THEY put it under the wrong name. Even after showing them email and text proof that the credit was mine, they refused. The manager called later, only to tell me too bad. There's nothing she can do and they already processed my credit card.I will not go back.
