This is also a Shell Gas Station and they are running the ultimate Scam during the Colonial Gas Pipeline interruption. Yesterday it was unclear when the Gas Shortages in the Charlotte Region was going to end and by last night, 70% of all gas stations in North Carolina were out of fuel. While I had gassed up earlier in the week, I like my coworkers went ahead and decided to top off my tank. I drive an older Audi and normally only use Shell gas because of the additive package keeps my fuel injectors clean. Sign on the pump said I had to pay inside and my credit card would be charged $40. Asked the woman behind the pump how this was going to work and she asked how much I wanted to buy. Told her I had no idea what it would be so she said, she needed to charge my AMEX card $40 and after I pumped, I could come back into the store and they would charge back my card the difference. Charged my AMEX card $40 and it took $16.20 so the difference was $23.80. Walked back in and she did look a bit surprised but then she fumbled around and after about 5 minutes, she annotated my receipt showing the $16.20 and said to check my bank account in about 30 minutes. 32 hours later, only transaction on American Express is the original $40 with no credits The way I figure it, I paid about $8 a gallon for topping off my tank. Great way to maximize your profits.

Went and got a 2 piece snack, I come home and start eating I see a long piece of black hair ! I call the market basket to notify them that there is a hair in my food that is not mine because my hair is blonde-ish and is in a bun. The rude lady at the register says to me “what do you want me to do? I don’t know what to tell you.” “No one in the kitchen has black hair.” I expressed to her that I certainly don’t have black hair so someone in there has to. Would not recommend !

Giving 1 star is being generous. Rudest service ever! Long waits and don’t expect them to get your order right. Then when they don’t get it right they will give you an attitude like it’s your fault.

This place has some of the best friend chicken in the area. I'm not saying it will close a Bojangles if it was next to it, but it would hurt Bojangles' business. They only have a few sides to choose from, but they offer something different often.

They need more cashiers. They need someone on the register and someone getting orders for food bc if you just want to get gas or other items you are in for a long wait

I went there today and stood at the counter for 7 minutes before I was waited on. There were two employees at the front who saw me waiting but felt that their conversation about hair dye was more important than the customer.
