Great place. We just needed a tube replaced, but the owner stopped what he was doing and had us fixed up in just a few minutes. The price was more than reasonable.

Had 3 broken spokes. Dropped off the wheel hoping it would be ready before I had to leave for the weekend. Gary called before I even got back to my house 5 miles away to let me know he tried and that the wheel was not repairable and told me he had a new one in stock. The price was more than reasonable. In fact, I feel like I was undercharged! Thanks Gary! I'll be back.

Called this shop to ask a few questions about my recumbent etrike. They were very rude and hung up on me while I was still asking a question. It was clear they weren’t interested in working on my type of bike but they didn’t have to be so rude.

This place was awesome for diagnosing my bike problem! I took in my bike and the gentleman interrupted his work and popped my bike up on the exam table and it was no big problem but I appreciated the fact that he looked at it right away instead of having to leave it for a long time! And also no charge! Thank you!

The older gentleman in the shop was very rude when asked if he had any bikes for rent. Not sure how the establishment is still in business by the way he spoke to me when I asked a simple question. Save your money and go to island bicycles just down the street. Friendly knowledgable staff that want your business.

Rude yes, good service yes. I think the owner just has a generally rude demeanor, or maybe he feels awkward around people. Don't fault him on this. The prices are great, and the end result of the service is great.

I purchased 2 bikes In November of 2020. I told the owner that I would be picking them up in December, before Christmas. I wasn't able to get the bikes because I live in WV and wouldn't be returning to NC until the spring. He said ,"no problem" I won't put them together until Spring. I contacted him in Dec. and told him I didn't want one of the bikes because it was a Christmas present for my son and I wouldn't be able to travel to get it. I politely asked for a refund for the bike ($561.00). He told me he couldn't do that because he didn't have the money at the time, and business was slow. He said when business picks up, he'd return my money. When I arrived in NC (February) to pick up the other bike, he didn't return my call until after I left to go back to WV. I had my neighbor get the bike for me. I spoke to Paul regarding my refund for the other bike. He said that he still didn't have the money to pay me, yet he did have the bike and my money. He told me he'd have it in a couple of months (May 1 2021). HE ALSO INSINUATED THAT HE WOULDN'T PAY ME BECAUSE IT HAD BEEN TOO LONG AND THAT I DIDN'T PICK UP THE 2ND BIKE. If I don't get my money back by May 1, my attorney is getting involved. This is ridiculous and bad business. Contrary to what he says, "We don't take extra care in serving you".

If I could add a half star, I would. The shop seems to sell a good product and at reasonable prices. The folks in the shop seemed overwhelmed by the three of us customers. I guess that was a rush, that may have helped throw some courtesy out the window.
