Had the least expensive gas in town with a parking lot you could actually get into. Plenty of pumps and space to drive and park. It was really busy but still no problems getting in and out even with all the cars and people down for the fourth of July.

It’s a real shame you refuse to enforce the mask mandate, choosing to risk lives so Trump loving businesses can have their fun at the expense of public safety. The vast majority are choosing to be responsible despite your idiocy, but we just left a store at Holden Beach deliberately refusing to have employees or customers in masks. The selfishness of these anti-mask morons is beyond me. They give the rest of your county a bad reputation. Brunswick county’s new slogan: “Come vacation here if you want to get sick and potentially die, we’re too selfish to care”.

I was stopped at a traffic stop. the officers smelled weed. I was charged with possession. The officers involved were nothing less than professional.

I'm a business member and it was one of the best decisions I have made. I have met a lot of awesome officers!!! Coming here from being a military brat and Army wife, I have lived in my share of different areas. I have seen and met officers that didn't need to carry a badge. Brunswick is by far one of the top counties with the best officers. Long as you don't associate with crime or even trying to better your life now, you won't have any problems. The only ones that complain about Brunswicks officers are the ones that stay in trouble and live in that lifestyle. Like my Memaw has always said, "you lay with dogs, you wake up with fleas"

I just wanted to say thank you to the Deputy who stopped today on hwy 17 Shallotte. My Mom had some issues with her Van. I got her back going, but near the end of taking care of her ordeal for her a Deputy came up behind us to help get traffic to move over. It can be very scary out there. Traffic is moving very fast and within inches of where your working at. I always move over to the left lane if possible and if not, I slow down to a crawl. As I witnessed today most people d

I don't usually review a "gas station" but have to say FF is a nice clean place where staff is friendly and efficient, the coffee is good and the prices on gas and smokes are always competitive.

Conveniently located on business route 17 in Shallotte, Family Fare is my go-to place to fill up when I'm in town, usually on the way home from The Purple Onion, a fantastic locally owned restaurant that's great for breakfast and lunch. Family Fare has changed names over the years, and in its current incarnation, they appear to have upgraded the pumps and the amenities. So stop on in, gas up the family vehicle, and enjoy the local scenery.
