Jeremy has been my computer go-to person for 3 years. I am a heavy user of a number of programs - so issues pop up that I am not equipped, nor patient enough, to deal with. I am a very senior citizen who did not grow up in the computer age. Jeremy's patience is what I need. In fact, I have his number on my speed dial.

Chuck and his team done a remodel on 3 of my bathrooms, installing tile, new counter tops, toilets, new faucets and new flooring. The transformation was amazing. I was so happy with the results that I contracted them to add granite counters and backsplash to my kitchen, along with new faucets. Needless to say the outcome was beautiful. His team was very professional and courteous. I would recommend if you are considering a make over that you contact Chuck Smith.

Trust me... I'm saving you so much anger and frustration by saying stay away. I hired Lowe's Home Improvement in Sanford for a full kitchen remodel from the ceiling to the floor, doors, windows - everything. They subcontracted to Chuck and company. The preliminary meetings, I had 5-star confidence. Great discussions, great vision. The demolition came, and all was going great for two days. Then everything slowed to nearly a halt. Got stood up. Then one person would come and do a little bit and leave. The next day someone would come in the afternoon. This went on and on and on. I got promises over and over. Got apologies over and over. Got stood up more than they actually showed up. A 4-week job took way longer than ever expected. FIVE MONTHS later, the job is finally wrapping up. Now I will say that the entire 5 months' delay was not this company's fault - some items had to be reordered since they were damaged. But the way things are scheduled is idiotic and unprofessional. I paid in full (to Lowes) upfront. Had they scheduled me from start to completion (as complete as possible) for that 4-week window, we would have finished way before Christmas. They should have known how to shift puzzle pieces if they ran into a glitch. But if one piece of the puzzle was missing, they would just STOP and not do the other pieces. But what I really didn't understand is when my house was still torn apart, why his workers were at someone else's house doing THEIR job. MY house started first. Why the heck aren't the men here finishing up? At the final crunch, he sent as many men to my house to finish the job on the final day (the last broken-promised deadline). They did such a lousy job that I took pencil and started writing all over the door trim that it was crap and sent him a picture when I got home. They had to redo it (which is really stupid that they wouldn't do it right the first time). Because I work, my 89-year old father would drive down on a Sunday and stay the week so they could have access to the house. My dad sat in the house so many times waiting for someone to NOT show up. He wouldn't get something to eat because he was afraid that even though they said they'd be here in the morning, if he left to get a bite for lunch, he'd miss them. Over and over and over again. He was always available whenever this company was ready, but they continued to stand us up. They disrespected my father by lying repetitively about when someone would come (if they wound up coming). The final straw, however, was when they had the sheer gall to put the blame on my dad when their back was up against the wall with Lowes. Are you freakin kidding me? That man has bent over backwards to be here, continually available for the time it was supposed to take for you to finish the job, Chuck. There was only one week I told him not to come because I wanted you all to see what it was like to have your hands slapped. How dare you try to say your incompetence and inability to schedule your men was my father's fault. You have some talented people there. What you lack tremendously is the ability to manage your project properly. And the lies. The perpetual lies... I gave you a chance time and time again, but you continued to lie.

Is there less than a one star rating? Brought in three laptops with the instructions...#1 most important - need to retrieve important pictures and documents off a Sony VIOS that had stopped working. #2 - replace cracked screen on Dell Inspiron. #3 and least important - If you can get this old Dell "something" working...that would be awesome. So...they told me how much it would be...also said they would need cash up front. I obliged. After I contacted them at a later date, I was told that the quote was wrong because they didn't have a suitable replacement screen for the Inspiron...so $80 more...cash up front. Ok...after pestering him, he gives me back the Dell "something" which does now, in fact, work. NOW THE REALLY HORRIBLE PART After a few more weeks go by, I contact him again to see why my other work hasn't been completed. He says he doesn't have the money to order the new screen. He spent what I gave him...somewhere. Now I have to wait until he does some business...and makes enough money to afford the screen. Ok...I'm trying to be as nice a guy as possible. I stop in and ask him about moving my important files onto a USB drive, which he says he can do (I bring him a USB drive). While I'm there...he's searching for the Sony VIOS hard drive, which he has already extracted from the computer. He can't find it...but when I call back later, he says he did find it. Asks that I give him til Saturday to do it...ok... Saturday comes...after several phone calls, he finally answers his phone. Apparently, he had reformated the hard drive and installed it in someone else's XBOX unit. He blamed the mix up on his cleaning lady... Now...those very important pictures and documents??? They were of my recently deceased wife...and now they are lost forever. So...I'm done with these clowns. I call him and tell him I just want my computers and my money back. I get my Dell Inspiron, but the broken screen as already been removed...and surprise...he doesn't have my money. Plus...as I'm leaving, I notice my battery pack is missing from the laptop. I go back in and they start looking all over for it. Finally they find it...or at least one that fits behind some big display case. Two more weeks of hounding him about refunding my money...never got it back. So...AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Some additional info...voice mailbox has been full for 7 weeks that I tried to do business with them. They rarely, if ever, try to contact you...you must ride their asses constantly...and, like me, you may still end up screwed. This cash business is just begging to be audited by the IRS...and I may do my civic duty to help that along. The person I dealt with is Jeremy.
