I took my car in and it was diagnosed as a Serpentine Belt related to tension. There was a rattling noise near the area of the belt. I was given a price, parts were ordered. In addition, I requested a Front End Alignment. I was told the parts wouldn’t be there until the next day and I was called the next day and told my car was ready. The cost of repair was a bit lower which they said because they only replaced one belt. When I arrived to pick up my car, I was told it was misdiagnosed and it was the belt that controlled the AC condenser that was making the noise so only one belt was replaced and was told by the mechanic that I no longer have AC because he bypassed it. When he cranked the car the belt was squealing. When I said something to him about it he sprayed WD-40 on it and said it would need to wear in a little cuz it was a new belt. On the drive home I noticed my car was pulling to the left , especially when I applied the brakes. And there was a bit of bouncing in the steering wheel. I called back and talked with the mechanic, and he repeated his reasoning for bypassing the air conditioner when I told him about the car pull in to the left and a little bounce in the steering wheel when I hit the brakes or driving, he began to tell me that it was a breaking issue . I quickly told him that it was not doing that when I brought it in just like I had air conditioner when I brought it in and now I did not. Again, he told me it was a breaking issue because…, That is the point where I just hung up the phone. To say the least I am very unhappy with the mechanic and services that I received, and I will never take another vehicle back to Snider Fleet Solutions, across from the airport on Airport Road and Rockingham, North Carolina. Never ever.
