August 2024 by The Nightmare Family
Since my family stop working here with Marie as the boss, this place has sadly went to being a ghetto p.o. But my mom and mamaw would clean it once a week and we would mow and everything outside. Marie would give me Christmas presents and bday presents. It was an amazing place to work for. Till her a family member developed cancer and she decided to retire. The new person in charge (not using his real name for privacy reasons) and the higher ups completely ruined Marie's years of hard work. And not long after they decided to let my family go from working there and after that, it's just been downhill ever since. I still have a box there and every time I go it's so heartbreaking to see how bad this place is. And then there's never anyone there. I don't know if it's the same person working there but I think honestly he just stepped into something that was just out of his league. But it's still a Post Office but it once was soo much more. ?

For a small unincorporated community like Ridgecrest having it's own post office is a really nice amenity.... although it doesn't actually deliver our mail.
