Lots of stores and restaurants, pretty typical stuff really. Perfectly fine to check out and give patronage if you live in the area, but it's not a world class destination. Wouldn't travel a long distance to visit.

Storwa are fine, but atmosphere is sketchy, especially at night. Just lots of rusted buildings and graffiti on old buildings

This area is a treasure of the city as it's been around for years. Surprisingly quiet to be within a campus of students yet has good ecomical friendly shops and friendly folk. Traffic is pleasant and the area is safe for walking or exercise.

The Ethiopian Restaurant has good food and the experience was even better. The waitress was very patient with us and we got our food fairly quickly considering she was the only waitress.We drove an hour to get there from Southern Pines, and the terminal 8 lounge had a band which cost $45 to get in, so we did not go in even though we wanted to dance.

A good place to hangout. Very near to NC State University so it’s easy for college students to have a good time. Has a movie theatre and also a couple of really good restaurants. Apart from that it also has convenience stores which have affordable prices. Very close to the bus stand.
