Friendly and welcoming staff! The office itself is inviting and clean. I love how kid-friendly the office is incase my kids are in tow. A changing table in the bathroom speaks to the family friendly atmosphere and Dr. Nikolai’s work with pre-natal women and infants. The use of their app makes scheduling changes a breeze and streamlines the check-in process. Dr. Nikolai helps me understand what’s being done via treatment and truly offers personalized care catered to each individuals concerns. I only wish I had found him sooner!

This man is a miracle worker. I work on my feet most days and had severe shoulder and neck pain daily. I tried physical therapy and so many medications to help but nothing worked. I would come home from work and just lay on the couch unable to play with my daughter or help my husband around the house. I thought I was going to have to quit my job. I was initially skeptical since my plan required me to go multiple times a week and live in Durham. It took a few months to feel the results but now I barely have any pain. My husband was amazed since I went from complaining about pain daily to feeling like I was 10 years younger. It may seem expensive but it is an investment in your body and your quality of life. It is worth every penny to no longer be in pain. Also, I had a sinus infection and he helped with that too. I am so thankful I found him.

Dr Nikolai has changed the way I view chiropractic care! I have been seeing different chiropractors for years and this is the first time that I felt like someone was taking a look at the whole picture. From the nerve and muscle scan to the XRay and specialized treatment plan, this office looks at it all! It’s a major bonus that they are so friendly and personable, it just makes it an all around great experience! You are in and out super quick but never feel rushed and if you have to reschedule an appointment, the app is absolutely amazing! So glad I found Adapt, I’m already seeing so much improvement- I can’t wait to see where I am at the end of my treatment plan!

This place is the absolute BEST, I can’t get over the professionalism as well as the atmosphere itself. It’s extremely kid friendly, they even have a little room specifically for children should you bring them! Bathroom’s so clean and cute, and I can’t get over just how good the consultation is in general. They used this little gun (kinda looks like a price scanner at a store lol) and get actual thermal scans of your muscles so they can pinpoint where your pain is and what needs to be worked on. You also after the consultation will get to take those charts home so you have a visual of everything! The cool thing about the little hand held scanner is it’s pregnancy safe! The chiropractor is Webster certified, which if you’re like me you looked everywhere for care specifically targeted towards pregnancy! I just can’t say enough how much I enjoy coming here. The chiropractic assistant was just the most delightful human ever! She was just so stinking sweet!!!!I’d also like to add she was VERY knowledgeable, and just overall so friendly! (Kelsey) and Dr. Nikolai is so incredibly knowledgeable and even taught my husband stretches he could do with me at home to help out! I’m just so thankful for this place. I have never ever slept SO GOOD!! Listen, if you’re pregnant and you aren’t sleeping? Or your hips hurt, you get those aches tossing and turning at night, stop wasting your time Momma!! Get your butt in to Adapt Chiropractic!!!!!!

I started going to Adapt Chiropractic around 25 weeks pregnant. Dr. Nikolai created a care plan for me from then on until delivery. I had never seen a chiropractor before him and I can truly say I was able to make it through my pregnancy with much more comfortability after following his plan. Now, after delivery, I still receive adjustments and so does my baby! He is super personable and thorough. I highly recommend!

My lumbar back, shoulder and hip pain, associated with scoliosis and long hours on my feet, has vastly improved after a few sessions at Adapt, and continues to improve after several weeks. I have greater range of motion and flexibility in all I do. I have also benefited from the prescribed stretches based on my unique issues. Dr. Nikolai and his staff are friendly, professional, and flexible to work with. They have payment options that are very reasonable. They use testing and technology to tailor and target your treatment. You are able to have a comprehensive review of your X-ray images, nerve and muscle mapping to see exactly where your issues are how this effects your daily functioning from pain to digestion, anxiety, headaches, balance, and even congestion. As a RN evidence based practice is very important to me, and they lay out treatment plans in an understandable and obtainable manner. I am very pleased and have recommended Adapt Chiropractic several times.

I had been experiencing a lot of pain in my neck and shoulders. I had never been to a Chiropractor but my daughter recommended Adapt Chiropractic and I decided to check them out. After muscle / nerve scans and x-rays, Dr. Simonsen created a plan for minimizing / eliminating pain and increasing range of motion in these areas. Over the last couple of months, I can honestly say my pain has significantly decreased, I am able to perform more activities with no pain and my range of motion has increased. I would definitely recommend the Adapt Team to others.

Adapt Chiropractic is absolutely amazing! Dr. Nikolai and his staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Pricing is very fair as well. I’ve been coming to him for a month so far and I’ve made so much progress! I highly recommend him if you need an alignment on your spine.

I recently retired & relocated to the area. I was having some health issues in which I did’nt recieve much relief. No one could identify my issues. I had 3 MRI’s & a nerve test. Had a complete run down with a hospital stay. I now have my A1C & BP in control thanks to hospital & PCP. Still issues with my back, left leg. Found Dr Nick on the internet specializing in the nervous system. Since going to Adapt, I no longer need a cane to walk with, my pain certainly has been nonexistent. The last 3 weeks have been excellent. I now work in the yard, & perform household chores. Just a month ago I couldn’t do anything but sit in my recliner all day & go to bed. Energy levels are GREAT! Highly recommend Dr Nick & his staff!

I love to dance, and I have been very active all my life. However, due to the dysfunction in my low back and hips, I was referred to surgery. Thank heavens it was not an urgent need, so I was scheduled for several months out. A friend referred me to Dr. Nikolai and I decided it was worth a try to put off the surgery for as long as possible. I’m happy to say that after a month of ADAPT and extra stretching, I can stand up and walk after sitting for 30 minutes without looking like my 81-year-old mother. My condition is not perfect but I will definitely be putting off that surgery, or maybe not even having it, if I continue to make improvements in my ability to move and function as the weeks progress.

Adapt has a very welcoming office environment. I always have nice conversations with the staff every time I come in. I really enjoy coming into my appointments. Not only is the environment a great one but I’ve noticed improvement in my day to day life. My treatment so far has already lessened the severity and frequency of headaches and pressure in my head/ears. I definitely recommend Adapt chiropractic!!
