We regularly shop at this Food Lion - it is nicely laid out and generally has all the items we're looking for in a regular grocery trip. We have gotten accustomed to using the self-checkout lanes, but were pleasantly surprised when an employee, Nikki, offered to check us out during our visit today. She was friendly and courteous, and handled our groceries carefully. The interaction was a lovely reminder of the power of a kind smile or word to others. Thank you Nikki for being so friendly - we hope your management sees this and rewards you for your positive impact on our (and I'm sure others') day.

I shop here a lot they have a real good selection of vegetables and can goods plus the meat section and beer and wine plus dairy was able to get in and out quick.

This is a relatively new FL. It seems to have a better selection than the standard FL. More upscale and larger than the typical FL.

This new Food Lion is really great! This is now my favorite grocery store!The employees are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The store is well lit, spacious, has an open feeling, easy to move around in, and has a good selection compared to other Food Lion stores. The self check-out is small (4 stations, maybe) and like other Food Lion stores the Health & Beauty section is much smaller than other grocery chains.Many of the older Food Lion locations in Chatham County are getting upgrades and I'm looking forward to the changes.

BIG SHOUT OUT “THANK YOU” to Excellent Cake Decorator Stephanie for a beautiful Barbie-themed birthday cake for our 3 year old grandgirl! Everyone at the party (including 2 party planners and several hospitality pros) raved about the cake and asked where it came from! It was beautiful AND delicious!Big THANKS also to Paige for making the ordering easy and correct Thursdayand for the nice young man in the Deli-Bakery who answered the phone Friday evening, went and “put eyes on” the cake, assuring me it was complete for Saturday morning pickup and that it was beautiful!I could hear the smile in his voice!We already loved this Food Lion for the variety, freshness, great staff, and prices.Now we can add “Awesome Bakery!”

Great place to shop. Go there often. Prices are reasonable and good. Large selection to choose from. The vegetable, fruit and meats are fresh. Would recommend for grocery shopping.

I didn't give this Food lion a 5 star because it doesn't stock WASA , VEAL, and has very few organic foods.Many changes since my last review of Food Lion.The shelves are fully stocked. I now buy veal, organic food and international foods. Produce is fresh. Love the deals!Assistants are professional, helpful and friendly. Parking is easy.
