Shoe dept I can't believe I was profiled today at the this store that. I have. shopped several times, before and never felt more uncomfortable than I did today I'm in retail myself but have never profiled anyone I came To Shop and I already had other shopping bags in my hand so you could clearly see I was shopping two guy employees kept walking down the side aisles were I sat down trying on shoes one guy with a red shirt and a tall guy with long hair and a black sweatshirt with tattoos everywhere Neither one of them greeted more asked me if I needed any help or did I need a certain shoe size but just kept watching me as if I was going to steal You should never profile people based off the color of their skin and if anyone else they have made feel that way when you walk in there you should definitely contact corporate like I will be doing .tomorrow morning .

This is a great mall! Always clean. Wonderful thriving stores! The ceiling is skylight, so it feels like being outdoors in a comfortable environment. Shop, walk, relax.

I recently visited the new Southern Lion store @ Carolina Place mall. The Southern Lion store is located in the old Sears building, attached to the mall. The merchandise at this home furnishings store is well worth checking out. There are a variety of home essentials and unique finds throughout the store. I highly recommend that everyone check out this new store. It could be a one-stop destination for everyone on your seasonal holiday shopping sprees.

The mall itself is a good average mall. Great to go shopping for back to school clothes, sunglasses and shoes. But the past two times I've witnessed vandalism. A group of men running out of the store with maybe $350 dollars worth of merchandise. The security guards didn’t do too much about it probably because it happens so often. Now I go to the South Park mall. It's way safer and more classy.

Excellent shopping mall and adjacent shopping area. Features a BJ’s and Sam’s club next door basically and the Carolina Place Mall is a great place to shop for whatever you need. Great food court there as well. They’re also is a Barnes & Noble and Dave and Buster’s game Center..

I have been going to this mall since I was a kid and it continues to impress. The cleanliness of the mall is what always impresses me, never being dirty a single time that I have went. They have a diverse food court for the whole family to enjoy eating at, and there are numerous stores for everyone to enjoy.

Go to this mall several times a week primarily for mall walking. Since I walk both levels of the mall I get to observe the cleanliness almost daily. Have seen spills in low traffic areas take days to clean up.

I love this mall because it was small and it has a JCPenney , which is so hard to find these days... Unfortunately, they weren't very many people shopping, and that always concerns me as we watch all these malls go under one by one... People were extremely friendly, loved the prices and the products as always. I will forever be a JCPenney's customer and hope that they're around long after I'm gone..

Has some unique stores which is a plus. Seems to cater more towards a lower/middle class clientele with the types of stores they have. There is nothing wrong with that, but don’t go in there expecting the higher-end stores you’d have at South Park. This mall may get a bad reputation at times, but I’ve always felt safe there - lots of people that appear to be there to shop, and not just loiter, which is great. Way better than Northlake!

Went today to visit the new Pop Up location for the new Southern Lion at Carolina Place in Pineville. This is going to be Exciting. This will be the top floor of the Old Sears location, then moving into the final location in the bottom floor. 80,000 sq ft. More info coming soon.

This mall has a lot of potential. The jewelry stores are always a pleasant experience.But beware of the Auntie Anne’s pretzel located in this mall, they STEAL tips. So using cash would be best or just avoid them all together.Also this is the place to grab ya kicks when your on the run, I always find what I’m looking for.
