I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Planet Fitness. Despite canceling my membership and following their detailed instructions (writing a letter, scanning it, and sending it to the manager), they continue to charge my account. I called numerous times to resolve the issue, and the manager assured me everything was fine. However, the charges persist every month.
I even had to issue a stop payment through my bank, costing me $20, to prevent further charges. Yet, a few months later, Planet Fitness resumed charging me through a different merchant system.
This is not good business practice, and I highly recommend taking this into consideration before signing with this location. If you do decide to join, do not use your bank account for charges; instead, use a credit card. It’s just not worth the hassle!

I have not been to this location since the remodel of the men’s locker room. I was super impressed at the individual private shower stalls.
I had done a workout outside on a hot day and just wanted to come in and take a shower. This location was close by.
Super clean staff was friendly.

The Planet Fitness on Pineville Matthews rd is the best. Staff is very friendly and always welcoming and helpful. I would recommend Planet Fitness to anyone looking for a home gym!! I love it!! Always clean as well which is a big plus!!

After 4 weeks of this hand sanitizer being out/broken I finally had to put this sign up. I told the manager (vivian or something) on Tuesday it had been out. I told her this morning it was out again. She said they were working on it. Told her a sign that I was out the last 4 weeks would be nice. She didn't care.
Just now she got mad and chastised me for putting up a non-official sign. Told her I was just trying or help so others wouldn't waste time like I had the last 4 weeks.
What a great Mgr she is :( other staff are great and this is a top planet fitness. Hope the owner of this franchise sees this and makes corrective action for how she runs the gym.and her treatment of me (she has yelled at me for too loud of music in the black card lounge (not too loud, but had to since their music is so low and it's all about her dislike for loud music :(
Update - 7-8-24 - the hand sanitizer dispenser is still broken after not being back for the past 1.5 weeks. I just spoke with the manager and she said "It should be working??" Of course there no sign or anything that it is out. Wow!! Definitely not an employee I would want running my establishment.

Great staff. Clean and open facility. Hours of operation have been reduced slightly and is becoming increasingly busier, but still an overall ideal gym for the price.

It is a good place, very clean in every aspect (hygiene).
I loved the attention given to me by the lady who assisted me on Thursday the 16th in the afternoon, she was a professional at her job.
Everything is perfect there.
I loved.

By far, this is one of the best locations. The showers are great, and the facility is clean.
Kevin, the weekend morning attendant is very welcoming. Always smiling ?. One day, I walked in and was feeling down. Kevin cheered me up unknowingly. I disclosed something to him, and he looked and smiled at me without judgment. Kevin, don't ever dim that light within you. Be blessed ?.

Overall a good experience. The Equipment is a tad outdated compared to other locations and the sanitizing spray bottles don't have a proper tray to place them on but that's trivial stuff.
