Thank you for the excellent work and customer service. If I could give 10 star appreciation, the Bergen’s Company would receive it. Starting with the owner and the team workers assisting Andres. I had a water coming into my foyer and two other companies replace the wood. I continued to have the same problem. The Bergen’s team located the problem, the owner contacted me, show me pictures. Thank you for doing the work others did not. I am so grateful that I found a company who takes pride in their work, outstanding. If you want a honest, hard working company, Bergen’s is the best choice.

I have hired Pete several times and he always comes through for me. He is a great communicator and always does what he says he’s going to do. He and his team do great work for a decent price. I will definitely hire him again hopefully before he retires.

We hired ******'s Contracting and Repair for some work needed to the outside of our home. The work was done with the ******* being very professional with no complaints whatsoever. Contacted Pete Bergen to put in a French door in my office. Quote was given quickly and work was done on time and well done. The team that did the work was very nice and trustworthy. Was very impressed with quality - see pictures. Happy to find someone I can trust to do work around the house. Will be using them again for any future projects.

Bergen Repair did an outstanding job of repairing Hardiboard porch siding that was not correctly installed. The guys showed up, understood what needed to be done, verified what I wanted to be done, and finished the entire job in 2 hours. They had the experience, tools, and confidence that I see lacking in a lot of contractors today. No creativity, confusion, or lack of decision making. I'm so confident in this company, I asked to hand out their business cards to neighbors. We are all going to have repairs sooner or later...Pete and his crew have this down. I was unfortunatley faced with a complete failure of the lumber support structure for a screened porch addtion constructed (by another contractor) only 4 yrs prior. I knew that the fix was not going to be easy as the roof structure needed to be secured during the removal of the rotted support lumber. I contacted Pete Bergen as a neighbor used Bergen Contracting a few yrs ago and came highly recommended. I will first say that I was not disppointed with my neighbors' recommendation. Pete assessed the condition of the entire structure and suggested a few alternatives to remediate. Pete and I discussed the alternatives and collectively agreed on the best solution. It was important for me that my concerns and ideas were not only heard, but solicited. The Bergen Contracting crews who performed the initial investigation and remediation work were, by far knowlegeable and experienced. Based on my experience working with Pete and the crew, I highly recommend Bergen Contracting! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Pete replaced an outside door with attached transom window for us that had rusted with age, and he and his crew did a fantastic job! We were very impressed with his and his crew's professionalism. Pete was great with communication, returning my phone calls and answering my emails in a timely manner. His crew were on time each day, paid great attention to detail in their work and cleaned up after themselves before they left. The door they installed looks better than the original! I would not hesitate to recommend Bergen's to anyone, and we will use them again in the future. Guarantee that!

Pete and his crew replaced and repaired the majority of our HardiePlank siding, then painted the entire exterior. They made custom cedar shutters and trim and also installed new gutters with leaf guards. They were always on time, very professional and a pleasure to work with. Best of all, Pete is a master carpenter and does not take shortcuts. His experience with this kind of work is unmatched and we are very pleased with the results.Service: Exterior painting

They arranged a convenient time to complete the work, called me prior to their arrival and completed the work when they said they would. No payment was required until the entire job was completed. They did some concrete work, replaced boards in my deck and then painted it, installed some lights and replaced the side door for the ********* was very pleased with all the work that was done and would highly recommend his company.

Had siding on total exterior replaced and repainted last summer. They also replaced and repaired rotted trim pieces. Pete always stayed in touch throughout the project. The people who actually did the work were excellent! I love the way it turned out and the price ended up being reasonable and in line with the estimate. Our exterior trim and Chinese chippendale porch railings had deteriorated from weathering and inferior workmanship of other contractors. We held Bergen to a very high standard and they exceeded it! The restoration was flawless because of very skilled carpenters, the appropriate selection of materials and a crew who held the schedule. As for quality control, Pete Bergen holds daily work progress meetings with his team before they come to the house. Decisions are made in real time using quick calls to review photos and give feedback. I think the company is a hidden gem in South Charlotte.
