If i could give them zero stars I would. The facility disgusting, we were promised tables, chairs and tables clothes to find out they gave them to another group, Trez and the other hosts were incredibly and apathetic when issues arrived and we had to get some one who didn’t even work at the camp to retrieve what few items they did have for us from them. When I called to inquire about the lack of promised items and the filthy rooms we were ignored and hung up on. The “hosts” didn’t even step foot in the building when we were promised that they would help set up tables, take out the trash, check in on us, get anything we needed etc. when we arrived we had to buy table clothes, tables, scrubs toilets and sinks due to cleaner being poured everywhere but not cleaned up, we had to wipe up mud tracks from off the floors and much more. They caused scheduling delaying to our event and showed nothing but apathy and offered ZERO help to any of the problems they caused. I wouldn’t recommend this camp to my worst enemy.

Daughter had little to no fun. Rough facility, dirty restroom. Staff was there to be cheap babysitter! Very unfortunate.

Jim, camp director, is wonderful with words and communication. I truly believe he is in the business for soul transformation however, this was the worst camp experience we have ever experienced as a family. The leadership team at this camp unfortunately mishandled what should've been a very simple situation which resulted in my daughter and others leaving camp early (my daughter has been attending summer camps all over NC for 6 years and loves it - this has been our only poor experience). While Jim attempted to apologize for the situation, the damage was done. The worst part of this whole situation is the camp leadership admitted my daughter (and others) were on the receiving end of "mean girl" behavior for their week at camp but those campers causing the issues stayed at camp. If you are looking for someone to babysit your kid for a week - by all means go. If you are looking for a fun camp experience with camp to counselor ratios that allow the counselor to truly connect with the camper (not complain about the camp food our the camp itself), look further. Also, if your expectation is that your child is asked before outright accused, or asked about a situation in a disclosed location, look further. This camp takes reports that other kids state seriously without looking into them first. I am very hopeful this team learned a lot this week through mishandeling our situation. My daughter and I did and my biggest opportunity for learning is that I will NEVER entrust this camp with my children again. I will also take the time to meet the counselor ahead of time and ensure that he/she is capable of caring for child in a way that meets my expectations. I did my homework, I read a lot of reviews, I saw all of the good things about Rockfish (I even attended here as a kid), I emailed with questions ahead of time, but this was a very poor experience that will leave a lasting impression on us for quite a while. I appreciate Jim extending an apology to my daughter and I hope the leaders involved in this situation will do the same.

This camp is absolutely fantastic and it’s run very well. I’ve been very happy with previous years. However, the mosquitos are intense, and my kiddos comes back with hundreds of bites despite bug bands, spray and long sleeves.

My daughter has gone all summer to the day camp. She begs to go back on the weekends because she loves it so much. They spend the day outdoors, hiking, exploring and playing. They also go to the pool and river which is perfect for the summer heat. The whole staff is so sweet and amazing with the kids. I couldn't recommend this enough. I love that there is this "getaway" so close to home where you can enjoy the outdoors.

Great place for family events, ministry events, and kids camp experiences.I’m a chaplain at Bragg and recently held two events at Rockfish (March 2021), a date night and a spiritual fitness event. Wow. It was a great venue. The staff is so flexible and helpful too. I highly recommend it.

Had my son's 6th birthday party there and it was affordable and the best birthday party experience. The counselors really made the experience fun. Their energy and professionalism was first class. The kids had the whole camp to themselves and got to play for several hours on the playground, a hayride, cooking hotdogs and smores on a campfire built by the counselors. The hayride was awesome and Ruben kept the kids entertained with repeat after me songs as we toured the campgrounds. Highly recommended over the other birthday options in the area.

Its surprising how 12 miles from downtown Fayetteville is a sanctuary from the world. A must visit for youth groups, churches, or community groups for team building, relaxation, or a good place from the normal to meet and relax. The pool is amazing ?.

This place is absolutely amazing for retreats! They have speakers and equipment ready for you to use. I stayed here for a Lillian's List training and the staff was incredible and friendly! Sonya in the kitchen is AMAZING.

The staff were very rude. There were three people that came up to me and my group while we were camping saying we were being destructive while we were camping while we were sitting on some swings. If your looking for a good place to spend a day this camp is NOT the place to go because of the staff.

Wonderful atmosphere. Great staff. Christian operated.loads of fun. lots of activities. We stayed there while attending Pilgrimage my 14 year old wants to go back for summer camp. Cabins hold like 8 people. We had heat. Bathroom situation was not ideal, unless you've lived in a dorm. Nevertheless it was workable. Lots and lots of people there for Pilgrimage. Just can't say enough about the positives at camp rockfish!
