“The store had a fairly nice selection of alcohol, was clean and well-organized, and the employees were very pleasant. The outside of the store is deceiving I must admit, it looks a lot bigger than it actually is; the ABC in Southport is probably twice the size with a much larger selection. I found what I was looking for though, so I was satisfied!”
“Chill atmosphere with tons of beer on tap and canned. Marty was awesome to talk with and very helpful in finding a beer that my picky wife liked. His love for quality beer and this taproom was very evident. Highly recommend!!!”
“The owner took his time and effort to help me find a wine with less sugar. That was a tall order, however, he really did help me. Called me by my first name like he had known me for years. He branched out to his wine distributors and asked them all for an answer. He actually emailed me a wine chart that shows the differences in sugar volume per each type of wine. And don’t pass this store thinking their wines will be too expensive. I’ve purchased many bottles that were better than any store bought brands and were less expensive!

“We stopped in this store as we were passing by, on the way home from fishing. We stopped because we're the kind of people who like to check out new ABC stores in different areas we visit. You never know what you might find. The store is a good size. It's not the biggest I've been in, but it's definitely large. The whiskey and bourbon selection is one of the best I have ever seen. We found a lot of items we never saw before. I asked some questions to the clerks and they were helpful and friendly. The store was clean, bright, and well-stocked. Everything was neat and orderly. There were three of us and we all ended up making purchases. I will 100% stop here again when in the area. You should, too.”

“I gave it 4 stars because of the wide verify of options the little bar in the back and the adorable checkout lanes but I really only came for a cupcake for my birthday and all they had was hard old cupcakes they keep on the fridge so I had to go somewhere else.”
“Omg, this place is amazing!! My bf and I stopped in during Memorial Day weekend to pick up beer/wine hostess gifts before staying with family in St James. Being from NY, just being able to have the convenience of finding both good wine and good beer in a grocery store is amazing enough, but this is the best grocery chain I think I've ever been to. The employees are super friendly, even complimenting me on my Smashing Pumpkins shirt and swapping concert experience stories :) They have a "snip your own" fresh herb garden, again, lots of local beer, cheeses, BBQ sauces, mustards, inhouse smoked/cured meats. They even have a little beer corner with taps so you can either fill a growler, sit and relax with a drink, or walk around with it while you shop. We even picked up fire works, just for fun”
“I absolutely LOVE the floral dept at this store! The flowers are always so so fresh and seem to last forever, great quality!
(I think her name was Ashleigh, lost the paper with her name on it)... did such a great job on this quick custom bouquet for me. I didn't see the colors I wanted in the pre-arrengments section, so Ashleigh quickly stepped in to save the day and made this lovely gem from the stems section.
She was so patient, kind, and provided such WONDERFUL customer service; it's employee's like her who make Lowes Foods MY go-to shopping spot!
I highly recommend popping in this branch if you need any flowers, they never disappoint!
