Unlike other parts stores around where some employees really don't know much about working on cars all they know is what they can find out online and by typing in parts numbers. “I had been having issues with my car, my battery had died and when I replaced it my radio and running head lights were no longer operational. The guy at Walmart suggested I go for the free alternator test at advance auto. My son and I get there and explain the situation to Jose the rep/customer service person who gladly came out to help. He did the free check and said everything looks great according to the computer however there are things his computer wouldn't detect. That being said he explained a few possibilities and went on to look at both sets of fuses for me, carefully showing how to tell the difference between a working and broken one. He noticed one not working and showed how most vehicles actually have spares he explained how he wasn't allowed to fix/repair but explained so very well that we were able to fix it right there and had the radio now working. My headlights were still an issue . He said see a mechanic and if bulbs / headlight replacement is what's needed I'll be happy to help you with the correct parts. Advance Auto of Nashville definitely earned my trust and business today. Thank you Jose.”
