The absolute worst gas company to deal with. Customer service is out of Malaysia or somewhere. You cannot speak to an American, but your company is Amerigas!! Then today they turn out auto pay without permission! When we switched to Thompson gas in December, and they contacted Amerigas to come get their tank. It is still in my back yard! Amerigas, sucks as a company!!

Drivers need to learn to text or call before they arrive. Horrible phone support as they where going to give me a refund when I wanted a delivery.

AmeriGas has been our propane service since we moved into our house in 2006. We didn't choose them, it was established with the previous owner so we continued to use them. Usually, with no problems.However, a female delivery person comes out to fill the tank and decides the tank is rusty and crooked and that we need a new tank. Now, let me state that we NEVER get a phone call when someone comes for any service. This chick didn't even attempt to make sure the info on our account was ok and just drove off. Friday 10/13 I have major surgery and come home to recover.Monday someone comes to install the new tank and says someone else will be by the next day. The next day no one shows up so around 2pm I call to find out what's happening. They have no record of the tank even being installed! I said your rep came yesterday and he said you'd be back today to fill the tank.Well, we can put in an order...I stopped him and said I never asked for this tank. You never called to find out if this day is good. This must be filled immediately. It's an emergency. This person couldn't confirm it would be done immediately so I spoke to his supervisor who said he would make it an emergency order.At 2pm the next day, I call for an update because of course, no one has shown up, but they say I am on schedule.At 5.29pm, having been on the phone with 2 reps again for almost 30 minutes and they still say it's in "emergency" delivery. I can't tell you how many times I've told them that no one called me. No one confirmed that the date to install the new tank would be good. Because it wasn't good for us. If someone had called, I would have told them no because I'm recovering from major surgery!!I need my stove. I need to cook and have hot drinks and water. With an empty propane tank, I CANNOT DO ANY OF THAT.I was just assured that things would be done correctly and we should have our propane by today or tomorrow. Now you think it'll be done correctly?! No one would make sure anything is actually going to get done.No one would say, we'll call to let you know when we come.Apologies apologies apologies. That doesn't do me a bit of good without propane to heal, thrive, recover and survive!!!

Just got off the phone again with their OVERSEAS call center.....(AMERI-gas?!). The tank was already in place when we bought this home in 2016. We had the service put in our name and had the tank filled as needed from time to time. Never really happy with the service we received, we finally called and had the tank picked up (July 2022). Then came a bill for tank rental fees and tank pick-up fees amounting to over $275 which was as much as we generally paid to have it filled. Since they closed the local office (generally poor service there too, but that's another story), I had to call the OVERSEAS call center. I talked with someone who, after talking with a manager, said that they would waive the fees. My account balance was to be $0.00 and it would take several days for my account to reflect a zero balance. Well, this morning I get a past due notice for the full amount. I called the OVERSEAS call center and explained everything again. This time they agreed to deduct only $50 from the bill and had no good excuse for why they apparently LIED to me the first time. I reluctantly paid the amount just to be done with them......... forever. I will never do business with this company again or recommend them to anyone.

Amerigas is by far one of the worst companies I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with...... I ran pretty low on gas due to I've been working 3rd shift and just haven't been monitoring it. I made an order and they took so long getting out here my tank went to 0%. Granted everything was still working at the time my heat, hot water, stove etc. I finally get a message Monday saying I've received gas, I come home and see the slip on the door and it says service has been shut off due to a leak check needed. I've been through this before and I have the monitoring system in the home and the only check needed to be done was by the technician on the tank itself which they own. So I call and call and call and after 6 people..... They can't come back out here to unlock my tank until April the 11th......... How am I supposed to live in my home without heat, hot water, and oven/stove? I've tried the nice respectful way for the first few attempts but that was short lived...... By the way the gas company is less than a mile down the street from me..... But someone can't come unlock my tank for two more weeks.... Oh and just to put 120 gallons in my 320 tank was $408...... Got me 40%
