It’s ulta. What’s not to like? Taking off one star because it’s annoying their hours on the door say closes at 9pm, but actually close at 8. Happened to me tonight. Had a quick run, got there just after 8. Bummer. Also… I feel like many workers don’t actually want to be there. Not very friendly. I get SO many emails with coupons but like 90% of what I buy is excluded so that’s nice lol. Be helpful if they made samples there too. Instead they just have to waste product & throw it away when everyone returns stuff. Be like Sephora. Would eliminate so much waste.

A great place to bring your wife, daughters, and girlfriends to go shopping for makeup. While you sit inside the vehicle. ?

My review is specifically in regards to the hair salon. The makeup artists, as well as all the staff, are wonderful. I wish I had regarded the horrible reviews here as to not waste my time. I believe I am a very reasonable, patient, and polite person, and the way I was talked to there was horrible. I felt like garbage, and left with tears in my eyes. Completely wasted my time over the phone and had me come in just to tell me they were refusing to do my hair. I respect a stylists opinion and experience, as well as I understand the risks behind certain procedures. But they were so unwilling to even do a test strand on me both of the times I had gone. The way I was talked to was just belittling. I had high hopes, as this was my first time getting my hair done with any kind of bleach or color. I work as a receptionist and have customer service experience and I would never deal with anyone the way I was. I’m so grateful for the other salon who was so willing to do a test strand, take everything into account, remain professional while still giving me their opinions, and then tell me what we are able to do with my hair. I’m getting my hair done there instead.

There was the most pleasant smell as soon as I entered the glass doors. Such an amazing store and atmosphere.

I always go get to get my eyebrows waxed by Anastasia. She is very kind as well as all of the other workers I have encountered there. Everyone is willing to help you out and make sure you leave very happy.I always travel extra time just to visit this specific Ulta Beauty store. ?

Aisha Mills assisted my visit and purchases when I was last at Ulta. I spent more than I typically do as my bill was over $500 for that visit.I asked Aisha for her input and recommendations for my complexion, skin moisture as well as foundation, eyeliner, lipstick and other products. She was most helpful and focused to my need and promoted several different brands in doing so.Ulta is fortunate to have this lady on staff. Frankly, I look forward to bringing my daughter and 2 granddaughters to work with Aisha. She is customer oriented, professional and talented. It was a pleasure having her assistance and recommendations on products!

I received absolutely great Customer Service last evening 10/05/23.I called looking for specific products for my granddaughter.. Yona and Mary were so helpful looking through the store and found what had just been delivered. They were kind enough to put it aside for me.Mary helped me when I came to pick up and explained about each product and the best value. What a great Customer Service experience!!

So I absolutely love this store and location. I would give it five starts however the cashiers are very catty and made me feel uncomfortable. It was obvious they were chatting about me prior to checking out. The floor staff are amazing.

This is the 3rd weekend in a row that I have tried to shop at this location because it’s close to my home but I can’t because it’s so hot inside. I was told that the air conditioning is out. It is 95 degrees outside and you guys have no air conditioning???? That is unacceptable! I feel sorry for your employees. Do better Ulta! I guess I’ll start spending my money at Sephora instead.

Just don’t go to the Salon. I hate how my hair turned out. It’s way too short and I felt that I wasn’t given enough of a consultation. The stylist cut without really showing me where she was cutting. She just tapped somewhere on my back and said she wouldn’t recommend going higher than that area. I’m used to stylish taking a bit off the ends before color, but I wasn’t expecting her to just cut off 6-7 inches! I thought I had more time to talk to her about the cut and the shape. It felt very rushed!! It just happened so fast.I’m also confused as to why I was triple processed when the stylist could have just foiled the color and highlights from the beginning. Instead she colored my entire head, then bleached a handful of strands and then she glossed my “highlights”. She kept saying gloss which I never got a clear definition of what that was but she said it was better than color if I ever wanted to go blonde (which I don’t and won’t) I personally think the staff was told to push gloss over color because I overheard another stylish giving the same exact talk to a different client). The gloss didn’t take or something so my “highlighted” hair is now the same exact color it was to begin with except now it’s been severely damaged from the bleach! The stylist even told me she didn’t leave the bleach on very long or lift a ton of my color. I truly don’t understand what happened but the bleach seemed to have reacted very harshly to my hair in the areas the stylist put “highlights” in. I’ve never had my hair fried from bleach before but it is now. My hair had not been colored in years and was a honey brown so it shouldn’t have been an issue. Maybe if she would have done a test strand first she could have seen if the bleach was too intense for my hair. I don’t know. I understand that no one likes to do test strands though.I completely regret getting anything done to my hair because this won’t be a simple, easy, or fast fix. This was years of growing my hair out just gone before I even realized what had happened and I just feel so uncomfortable. I hate complaining but not one person has said anything positive about my hair cut. No one even noticed it had been colored!!! Everyone knows it’s bad and it’s embarrassing. It doesn’t even looked styled or finished. It was just chopped off and chemical damaged. If I asked a stranger how much they thought I paid for my hair cut they might say $20 (and that’s being generous!). I would have called the store but my hair is gone now so there’s no way to fix it. Plus, I really wouldn’t feel comfortable going back anyway.I’m currently looking into wigs or extensions until my hair grows out a bit more. Once it grows about 3-4 inches I will go to a different hair salon and get an actual styled cut! I’m just too scared to have more of my horribly short hair trimmed or taken off until it gets longer. This style of hair looks terrible on me and I can’t imagine it being any shorter.Save your money, time and hair and go to a salon that will take time with you and not try to rush through anything. Hair is too important to gamble with!

I recently had a makeup session with the talented beauty advisor, Mary, and I'm thrilled to recommend her services to anyone looking for an outstanding beauty experience. From the moment I sat down, Mary's expertise shone through – she effortlessly understood my preferences and desires by asking just a few questions. Her recommendations were on point, and I ended up purchasing everything she suggested. Needless to say, I'm in love with my new makeup!Mary's skill aside, she has an innate ability to make her clients feel comfortable and at ease. My time with her felt more like catching up with a friend than a traditional makeup session. The entire experience was delightful, and I couldn't be happier with the results. What's even better is that Mary also offers eyebrow services. I'm already looking forward to coming back and letting her work her magic on my brows. If you're seeking a professional and enjoyable beauty session, Mary is the one to go to.

The constant changing of store hours is hard to keep up with. Everyday should be 9pm. I didn’t appreciate having the door locked in my face walking up at 8:00, when I had a quick question that would have taken 2 minutes to answer. A question about a faulty product that usually lasts almost a year, kept breaking and didn’t last a few months. The sales clerk saw me and quick ran to lock the door. Customer service has definitely declined, I would move to Sephora full time if there was a store in the same town. Very disappointing.

Emily did an amazing job and was a pleasure! After washing my hair 3 days after the highlights my hair was chemically damaged. This was confirmed by three different reputable salons in the area. I don't blame Emily! It could have been my hair just did not like the chemicals Ulta use. My real concern for Ulta is the salon manager Brittany! I called and spoke with her after this happened and she became extremely defensive and basically blamed me. Seriously? First it was my water, which I have washed my hair with for over 2 years. The city of Mooresville water. Then she asked me what medications I was taking! Excuse me! That is against my HIPA. I did tell her at the time of service I wasn't on anything but had been put on high B/P medication just this week. Immediately she said, that could cause it. So let me get this straight. I go get the service, wash my hair 3 days later to find chemically damaged hair, then go on high B/p meds 2 weeks after the service, and she feels this is the cause. Really? I explained to her I'm in the medical profession for over 35 years and this isn't the case. Then she decides to tell me about her multiple cosmetology degrees. I respect that! What I don't respect is her attitude and pathetic customer service. Brittany is a liability to the Ulta Cooperation! Emily has recently put a deep treatment on my hair at no charge, but it didn't really help. It will take 6 to 12 months before the damage starts to healDate of experience: March 24, 2023

I took my mother in to redeem a gift card. She uses Clinique products. Bernard at the Clinique counter is an incredible human. He listened to my mother and was so attentive. He explained new products. She was looking for a night cream and there are no "night Creams". I suspect she was a bit confused, she is 86 years young. Bernard was patient with her and I am his new number one fan!
