This bank cost me so much money! Kay told me to take money and bring it to her bank from another investment. It cost $2K! It was an IRA and the State of NC took money off the top. Don't you think if they are telling you what to do that they might tell you the state would take some? Well, they didn't and now I have to pay taxes on the whole amount! I never wanted to do it in the first place and now I no longer have an IRA because how could I trust them with anything now. So the remainder sat in my checking account and they took no responsibility. Then, that was only the beginning! They try to pretend to care but at the end of the day they are defensive and never apologized. Not only that, I could never get my money to transfer! Zelle was cut off and believe me I had enough money and I was unable to do anything, no apologizing nothing. I am out! Beware, do not listen to them about anything.

I recently switched to First Bank for both my business and personal accounts, mainly because of my confidence in Susan. It was a great choice. The customer service is beyond great.

5/3 was the worst bank experience I have ever had.My money was held for WEEKS with no explanation as to why, halting our business operations.I closed my business accounts here immediately - do not bank here!

Then the person that took my information quit and my info was sitting lost on her deskNow I just order checks then I’ll be charge so I’ll be under.I’ll be closing this account again.

Absolutely the worst bank to deal with! The people at the branch seem genuine and honestly want to help, but "procedures" keep them tied down. There is Absolutely no good reason to place holds on thousands of dollars from legitimate local businesses, because of a clerical error not on my part. We've been customers for several years, but that will no longer be the case! I've never been more upset with a financial institution who wanted me to provide personal identification data from another much more prominent investment company, before they would release "hold" on my account. So if they would be willing to accept information with blatant fraud possibility written all over it, what else will they do with your money? Disgusting how they are willing to do business, and a shame for the lovely people who had attempted to help me there at the branch.

I've been looking to move away from 53 Bank because they are not easy to do business with. However when I come to this location, the tellers always treat me with speed, friendliness, and professionalism. So much better than the Williamson Road branch. Makes me put off my decision to leave for a while longer.

Worst bank ever! I used to have an account with this bank and they were hard to work with and had so many fees! Well I must say this bank MUST be broke cause they are trying to charge me a percentage of a check I was trying to cash. The check was written on their bank, but since I didn't have an account they wanted to charge me! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! Don't do business with them!
