If they don't have it, you don't need it. Everyone should visit Turners at least once. You could spend all day there and not see everything. It's history personified. Go visit. You will enjoy it.

Great old hardware store with everything you need. Tall ceilings double decker and nice staff. Exactly what you’d expect on a small Main Street.

This store is a step back in time. If you need a hardware item and you don't want to waste your time sitting in traffic on Hwy 150, check here first. The store is 123 years old and the owner is 90 and comes to work every day. Definitely check this one out.

I always try to shop here first for my hardware needs. Great old timey hardware store - you can still buy 2 screws when you need to versus a blister pack with way more than you will ever use. Very friendly and great value.

Interesting find in "downtown" Mooresville, NC. An old hardware store built in 1899. The creaking steps to the second floor were actually scary! Lol. But worth the risk. I could probably spend a whole day in there and still not see everything. Every kind of old tools, new tools, and memorabilia- like the wall of John Wayne. Can you spy Elvis in one of these pics? Friendly people working there to help you find things. Hand made soaps, honey, almond and peanut butters, (even a special kind for dogs) and how about a small, genuine Longaberger basket for $7.00! Lots of unique finds here with helpful, friendly staff.

A great place in Mooresville. They always have what I need. If they don't they can always give you good advice on where you can find your necessary tools and products.

This is a true old time, stocked to the ceiling, wood floor hardware store. We went in for the bird feeders, but quickly learned the star attraction is owner Jack Moore who's been a fixture there for 75 years. We could have chatted with him all day. Social visit aside, if you need a new cord for your electric percolator, they have it, as well as many other items you will never find in a big box store. And the bonus is you get to meet Jack!
