I have been a Aaron's customer since 2019. I have paid off multiple items with them, and have NEVER missed 1 month. This month my renewal payment was due on the 15th. Of course the phone calls started the 16th at 8:30am bc I only paid one of the agreements on that particular paycheck. I pay one payment for my couch on my first paycheck,then pay on my electronics my next pay period. On the 23rd, I went to make my payment online and notice some $8 "renewal fee". Never seen this in the multiple years I've been a customer. So I call the office to ask simply what the fee is, the condescending person named Gemala that i have to deal with everytime i call proceeds to tell me in a very nasty way "well. It's in your contract " . If it's in my contract, and I pay the same way every month, I should see the fee EVERY MONTH RIGHT? I know it's only $8. Not my point. My issue is if I call and ask a simple question, I should not be met with a nasty attitude especially when Im getting collection phone calls ON MY DUE DATE. Not even a day after. I was gonna pay my couch off and never use Aaron's again, but then my husband and I decided we would give this company one last chance. Clearly my mistake. Good paying customers with perfect payment history since 2019 should not be treated like they are gonna run off with merchandise. Its just bad customer care. On top of you not having ANY grace period on late fees. Before you contact a customer you should check their history and be aware of it before making condescending phone calls. If a Customer has done THE SAME THING EVER MONTH FOR 5 YEARS, would it not be nice to just treat them as an asset opposed to a treating them kinda like a criminal? I've worked in customer service my entire life. Sometimes yes, customers are not always correct, but you should do some sort of investigation. And you cannot tell me that the staff at this store doesn't already know me, and know that I PAY MY AGREEMENTS EVERY SINGLE MONTH! Why go outta your way to upset a good paying customer to the point of now Aaron's is blocked on my phone. I am not gonna keep upset everytime my payment is due....

I understand that if you are late on your payments you need to receive phone calls. What i can not understand if you are 2 months ahead of your due date why are they calling you to make an appointment? I spoke to the GM and the GM stated that unless i make an appt with them by phone and i will continue to receive phone calls. i received another call today. I called customer service week and no one returned my call. I called today and stated my complaint was closed without a Regional calling me. I asked for the Regional's name and she said she was not allowed to give me his full name. I have to wait another 24 hours for the regional returns my call. Well i will never do business with this company again.

The appliances I have work great. One thing I wish they were better at is customer service and some grace. If you forget about your payment for 1 hour to 2 days they are calling you and will even send someone to your house to demand a payment. Sometimes people forget to pay their monthly bill or they are waiting to get paid or something out of their control comes up. Lets be a little more kind.

Second time my appliance has been broken to no fault of my own. twice I sat for over 5 hours waiting on a dryer that is apparently not coming. they do not call you to let you know it's not coming. all they say is I'm sorry then reschedule with you and then do it. It's really hard to make a payment on something if I'm missing work to sit to wait for you to come pick it up to fix it. Just over it Seriously regretting the other appliance I have with them!

We opened our account here in June 2021. We have couches and a kitchen table. During the last 1.5 years, we have ran into a lot of different issues that interfered with making our payments on time. I have mostly dealt with Gemma and she has been wonderful. We have moved since we opened our account and there is an aarons much closer so us, but we will never deal with another store because that is how great Gemma has treated us as customers. It means a lot to receive that kind of care when times get rough. Thanks so much!

Me & my fiancé rented a living room suit and a head board frame. Let me start off by saying the customer service was horrible, with that been said they sold us a couch with cat or dog hair in it and it was a hassle to get them to come clean it then days later me and my fiancé started to get bite and come to find out the head frame the sold us was infested with BED BUGS. We tried to be reasonable with them but there manger tried to get over on us until we contacted channel 9 news and Corporate. So Advise anyone do not rent or buy from this store

Always a pleasure doing business with these folks. We often take advantage of their 90 days same as cash offer. This time after searching all over town for a washer and dryer set, we found the best cash price here. Also delivery and setup is always included.
