Customer service in the drive thru is AWFUL!!! I specifically said that I wanted to cash two small checks. I was in the second lane, which proved to be a huge mistake. Someone from the front finally came to take care of my transaction, after I had waited and waited. They did not bother to confirm what I needed, and obviously, the drive thru teller did not listen. I said that I wanted to cash the checks. They proceeded, without my knowledge, to deposit them. I knew something was wrong because it was taking way too long to simply cash two small checks. If I had wanted to deposit the checks, I would have included a deposit slip or my husband would have simply done it himself on his phone. I was then told I could not simply have my money. That was THE BANK'S MISTAKE, and I was told I could not have my money back. This disaster also made me late getting back to work from lunch. If you do not have enough qualified staff to run two lines in the drive thru, DON'T!!! I would rather drive to a branch in Matthews than to deal with the Monroe location again. Now, I have to make a trip to the ATM to withdraw my money that I did not ask to be deposited!

When someone is specific about where their money needs to go, as a teller, you should listen. 12/29 the teller who was at the drive thru wanted to help with the back up of people inside but in his haste put my rent deposit in the wrong account which has had disastrous effects. The lack of attention to people’s livelihood is astounding. I know it can get busy but mistakes like this have huge effects on the lives of your customers.

I went to this branch for the second time to open a new account for my 13-year-old son. Ms. Nazarena Campos assisted me in opening a checking account on the same day and set up all the processes online through the phone. I appreciate her help in completing everything on the same day.

Why does this bank think they don't have to answer the phone?? I live far from the bank and need to cash a large check. Wanted to verify they would have the funds so I don't have to waste an hour driving. I have been calling for two hours. I am assuming they just leave the ringer off.

I came here on Monday morning time and to my surprise there is only 1 teller is working, on Monday, Carl. In a quick second there were plenty of people lined up behind me and all of them including me were waiting more than 15-20 minutes for their turn.Once I asked the manager why there is only 1 teller working to which she said that other teller got off, lol. That’s so unprofessional for this kinda bank, so frustrating. Never gonna come back here again.

This used to be decent branch. Not anymore. It started going downhill the minute they closed the Charlotte Avenue branch, and we only had the option of the Dickerson branch. I understand the difficulties that COVID has cause, but come on. Over the past year they have been utilizing no more than 3 tellers max. Keep in mind that this is the Only Branch in Monroe. If you need to go to this branch on a Friday, prepare yourself for a minimum 30 minute wait. They usually have 1 teller at the counter.and 1 at the drive up window. My wife and I are in the process of seeking a new banking partner. We're done with this Bank. It's unfortunate, since we've been using this bank for many years.
