First off let me say Chris and his team are amazing people. they put me in a car and got me approved with a very low credit score with a low down payment and low monthly payments. I will never buy another car from the greasy dealership again if you’re looking for a good car with a certain budget call on Chris and his team at Mebane auto group, thank y’all for everything you did for me to get in a car.

I recently purchased a Honda CRV from this dealership, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The price was reasonable, the car is in excellent condition, and the staff is exceptionally helpful and honest.Being a first-time car buyer in the USA, I initially had some challenges understanding the process. Phillip, the finance manager, went above and beyond to assist me. His guidance and support exceeded my expectations, making the entire process smoother.I truly appreciate the outstanding service and commitment to customer satisfaction. I bought a Toyota 4Runner from Mebane Auto Group. I worked with Chris. He is trustworthy and easy to work with. He took the time to understand my needs and preferences, guiding me through their inventory to find the perfect match. He gave me a fair price. The vehicle is mechanically sound and well maintained. Everyone was very helpful and professional. Very well maintained outside. I test drove 6 different vehicles and not a single thing wrong with any of them. I found the one I loved and the price was right! Ended up coming home with a 4 runner.

Phillip was an amazing salesman to work with! He gave me no pressure to buy, just an honest and transparent experience from start to finish. He has also been attentive even a month after the sale was completed. The quality of the vehicles are terrific for the fair prices they offer. Honest, and true to their word, the people at Mebane Auto Group make the process of buying a used car a little less frightening. Ask them a question and they’ll give you a straight answer. Like buying a car anywhere else, every buyer should do their due diligence, but Mebane works with you to find the right car for you, not works you to buy the right car for them. They also clearly specialize in off-road Toyotas like 4Runners and FJs, so you’d be hard pressed to find a broader selection than they carry at any given time. Chris and the rest of the staff are very friendly, definitely recommend stopping by and even making the trip from a few states away like I did.

Bought a motorcycle from this dealership and man was it a good experience! Worked mainly with Chris, but others helped me in a very kind manner. The bike was as described, the service was phenomenal, and they were very quick to respond. All around, enjoyed working with them! Maybe someday I'll buy a car from them :)

***BUYER BEWARE***If you are looking to purchase a Toyota 4 runner from Mebane Auto Group, make sure you get a full inspection of the undercarriage and frame! I was looking to purchase a solid used Toyota 4runner as a first car for my teenage daughter's birthday. I thought I located one at Mebane Auto Group in Mebane. NC while searching across various reputable online sites. I did my due diligence with a carfax report showing a 1 owner/no accident 4runner that had mileage under 200,000. The Mebane Auto Group site also showed that it had undergone a "Carketa vehicle inspection report" stating the vehicle was in top notch condition. I called Mebane Auto Group and spoke directly to the sales manager about the vehicle. He stated it was a solid vehicle that would last a long time for my daughter. I asked if it had any other issues I should know about. He told me that it had a worn hole in the carpet under the accelerator and the 4 low did not engage. He also stated that 4 hi worked fine and it would not impact the operation of the vehicle. I didn't really care that 4 lo was not engaging becuase we leave in a temperate and flat location.Thinking I had a good vehicle for my daughter's birthday, I flew to Raleigh-Durham and was picked up by the sales manager in the vehicle I was looking to purchase. I could see that inside was clean and it seemd to travel well. The sales manager also stated that they had recently sprayed the undercarriage with a rust prohibitive coating to ensure the undercarriage was protected. Living near the Carolina coast, I found that to be a great benefit. I didn't realize at the time that was just to cover up a major issue with the vehicle. After taking the vehicle for a test drive and doing a visual inspection in their parking lot, I reaffirmed with the sales manager that there were no other known issue and purchse the vehicle, After completing the paperwork that stated also I would have to enter into arbitration versus retaining and attorney for any issues, I drove the vehicle home (5 hours from Mebane, NC). The day after arriving home with the vehicle, I presented it to my daughter for her birthday and told her I needed to have it checked thougoughly by our trusted Toyota Mechanic. The next day, we drove it over to the mechanic and asked them to give the vehicle a thorough inspection as well as to take a look at the 4 lo issue. After just 2 hours, I received call from our mechanic. They emailed a link to the inspection report showding a major issue. The mechanic stated that the dealership had painted the undercarriage to conceal a major rust issue with the frame and that the vehicle was not safe for me or my daughter to drive. He also stated that the frame would not last more than a year or two before falling apart.I immediately texted/called Mebane Auto Group to discuss arbitration for resolving this major issue. The owner responded that he would have to have pictures to prove there was an issue with rust on the frame as well as the report from the mechanic. I forwarded the entire report with pictures to both he and the sales manager. After they reviewed the report, they agreed there was an issue with the vehicle and agreed to take the vehicle back. The stated they would provide a refund of the purchase price minus the documentation and processing fees for the purchase of the vehicle ($500) and I was responsible for driving the vehicle back to there location. I told him I was not driving an unsafe vehicle back to them and felt it unfair to have to for transportation and having to pay the document and processing fees for a vehicle I was no longer purchasing. He reluctantly agreed to have the vehicle picked up, but was adamant on me paying the $500 processing fees. Having little leverage in the arbitration and not wanting to be stuck with a lemon, I accepted. After the agreement was reached, I told my daughter that we had to return her birthday gift becuase it was dangerous to drive. Needless to say, my daughter was upset and asked why someone would sell a vehicle in that c

I purchased my first car, a 2012 Toyota Camry, from Mebane Auto Group in August 2022.Since I lived an hour away, we did all of our correspondence via email & phone. They were incredibly responsive, friendly, and made me feel very comfortable through the entire process.They worked with me to stay within my budget and even delivered the vehicle for me seamlessly.Now, if I was writing this review before October, it would have been 1 star.Upon receiving the car, I realized it was missing the listed backup camera, and further inspection found other issues such as: brakes rattling, worn tires, sway bar/rotor issues, etc.I ended up investing a good amount of money to get the car into a safe driving condition. You’re probably wondering why I am leaving a 5 star review.I sent a letter in the mail outlining everything I had done to the car. I received a response immediately and arrangements were set up to reimburse me for everything I had spent, an appointment was set up to install my backup camera, including a provided rental car while this was being done. Chris was incredibly kind and professional in resolving these issues. Of course I was initially very upset, but I do believe that these things would have been spotted had I seen the car in person first, and I don’t believe they were aware of these issues either, which places the blame on their third party inspector. All in all, I still would recommend this dealership and I even encouraged my husband to look for a vehicle here too. I have learned that it’s very important to look at the vehicle in person before purchasing, which is true of any dealership. Thank you Mebane Auto Group for making things right!

Mebane Auto Group is a fantastic automotive retailer! Chris searched to find the perfect vehicle for my son (even working with our unrealistic requests, lol). He was never pushy and always seemed to have the best intention. I can't recommend him enough!
