Don’t try returning something to this store that you bought from another store because the digital coupons didn’t work at previous dg you was at because you will be accused of stealing. I wasn’t about to pay $40 for 4 items when I had over $14 in digital coupons for these items. Do you blame me? Anyways the so called cashier that was there started off disrespectful. Didn’t want to return my items without the debit card I used which was my husbands card and he was at home. I thought to myself okay I will drive all the way home to get my husbands card to prove a point. My husband decided to come with me. We got back to store ready to return these items and the dg employee had the audacity To say, I think you dug that receipt out of the dumpster. Like are you kidding me???? Without looking at my receipt to make sure the last 4 digits of my card matched. He yelled out loud that I dug the receipt from dumpster in front of everyone? For one I was shocked he said that to me. For another I would never steal. I’m not that person. My husband and I work hard for what we have. We both have a career! I’m still in shock that he said this. I’ve never had anyone be so disrespectful to me. My husband did have a few word to say to him. I mean can you blame him? I was to busy trying to calm down my husband to even prove my point with the receipt. The only reason I went to this store is because the lady supervisor is always so sweet and helping with my coupons and it’s closer to my house. Only if I know what I know now I would of not stepped foot in that DG store today. He showed the kind of employee/person he was today. You don’t treat people like that whomever you are. I did file a complaint/report simply because this was uncalled for. Treat others how you want to be treated. Wish we would of told you that we pray for you and walked away from you. Thank you for turning my day upside down for talking to me the way you did. Don’t accuse people! This will come back on you.

It's a good place to pinch your pennies in. They have a lane with all kinds of things that are only a dollar. Soap, trash bags, laundry detergent, paper plates, plastic cups & so on. It's items you usually use around your home.

I smelled Marijuana as soon as I walked through the door, one of the employees was outside smoking as we pulled up, im not sure if that had something to do with it. The aisles were an absolute mess with products in the floor, random things placed, like tortillas in the Christmas decorations. I understand help is tough to get right now but there were two employees there just standing around talking instead of working. They also had music blaring from a radio one of the brought from home that was behind the counter. It was so loud I had a hard time communicating with my partner. I will never return to this store.

I am staying in a hotel, maybe 5 minutes walking distance. Everytime I need to get anything at all either they are unloading the truck and not enough employees to do both run the store and unload the truck. I can understand that, what I don't understand is how people are getting paid to be there and not open for the customers. Lack of open hours probably plays a big role on keeping employees. They have been open 2 times that I have needed stuff in the month I have been here. This week it is because the computers are down. Last week it was because they were unloading the truck, which I find hard to believe when I sat outside and watched a truck come and leave because nobody was even there to unload it. Completely unacceptable!!

I don't usually write negative reviews, but I had an extremely uncomfortable experience this morning at the Dollar General. I walked inside with a pair of cowboy boots and a trucker hat, and apparently one of the women who worked there had her eyes all over me. Right after I asked the kind Asian woman at the counter for a pack of Montego Menthol Gold 100's, a taller white woman with glasses walked behind the counter and started teaching to me the great benefits of vaping. I told her I used to vape; and despite being uncomfortable with her persistent smiling, she kept on making flirtatious gestures and laughed at like everything I said. It was obvious she was flirting with me. I'm tough, got strong muscles and whatnot, but I really don't like being hit on when I go to the store to get my groceries. Please reprimand this employee by telling her not to do stuff like that anymore.

Just like the one over on court street. Many items are out ..the item I wanted was out of course..at least nothing is blocking the aisles like the court street store..
