We have stayed at Echo Mountain Inn at least 7 times in the past 4 years, bringing friends twice and our adult kids this last time. It's so homey here! There are spaces to gather with a cozy group, lots of space in the dining room at breakfast, and the rooms are cozy.
There are so many different rooms to choose from--like 24--so we keep trying different rooms.
I'm gluten free and they always make sure I have food I can eat.
The grounds are beautiful in every season, the mountain air fresh. The drive up the mountain is fun and windy!
Why would you pay more for a hotel when you can have homey rooms and an Innkeeper who cares?

This hidden jewel in the mountains was the perfect place for our family to stay when our son and daughter-in-love decided to get married at Pretty Place. The owners and staff were very helpful and the friendliest folks you could ever meet! The wedding reception was held here at the Inn and everyone pitched in to help make it beautiful. Anything we needed was taken care of and an excellent recommendation was made for fresh flowers from the local farmers market. We also enjoyed the pool and fire pit. It was the perfect spot to gather and spend some time relaxing. Oh, and how could I forget those amazing breakfasts made fresh each morning! So much charm here! This is definitely a place to come back to if we’re ever in North Carolina again!

You know how sometimes places are so proud of their facility that they tend to expound on things that are just not really there? Well Echo Mountain Inn is NOT one of those. Everything described on their website was correct to a T. We enjoyed it so very much! Beautiful grounds, very (genuinely)friendly staff and adorable Inn. We were there for 2 days, and we really did not want to leave. Our stay was due to a concert our granddaughter played in at the Brevard Music Camp in Brevard. I searched for accommodations nearby and this beautiful little Inn came up and I am so glad it did. Nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of North Carolina only a ½ hour drive from Brevard.
When we arrived, Jan (co-owner) was in the flower garden tending to the Lamb Ear foliage. She greeted us with welcoming smiles and conversation. Once inside we were greeted again by two very pleasant folks at the desk with our room key and check-in items ready to go. Our room was checked once more before we entered, and our vacation began. We chose the “Magnolia” a lovely spacious room with bath, all very spit spot clean and fresh. In the morning, the bright and cheery dining room surrounded by beautiful windows gave us a spectacular view. Breakfast was top notch with fresh fruit, homemade French toast, muffins, sausage and more.
I cannot say enough about this place, it was simply perfect! My only fear is that if I say too much the secret will be out and everyone will go there!
Rooms: Our room was perfect - clean - spacious and so beautiful!
Food & drinks: Breakfast was delicious - Everything made from scratch - fresh ground coffee was a real plus

staying at echo mountain inn was one of the best experiences we have had! The intimacy of the owners, sharing their lives with us and giving us a feeling of being a part of their lives was amazing! The breakfast was great, the views from the Inn was spectacular and the rooms were comfortable and homey!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Echo Mountain Inn. We started the weekend with a play at the Flat Rock playhouse. We thought the breakfasts were really good, the location was perfect for hiking. We had a room at Little Echo with a refrigerator and microwave which we liked. Overall we felt like the Inn was a great value. It was clean and was every thing we were looking for. Very relaxing.

The staff was wonderful in supporting a large family reunion. The breakfast was wonderful as were the rooms. And it's hard to beat the lovely mountain location just a short distance from Asheville. There were many nearby activities including parks, hiking, mountain views, shops in Hendersonville, even a shooting range.

We spent an absolutely delightful week at this beautiful inn. It exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The inn, staff, and owners are one of a kind. Everything is clean and beautifully thought through. Breakfast abundant and delicious. The common space exceptionally handsome and varied...with a fireplace! The gardens just lovely, the porches inviting. We enjoyed walking every morning before breakfast (with umbrellas provided when needed). Others guests were a pleasure. In fact, we're hoping to organize our (long delayed) family reunion there. Thanks, Bud and Jan, for a memorable experience.
Rooms: Charming, quiet, very comfortable.
Walkability: Superb.
Noteworthy details: Historically handsome, with every comfort and convenience.
