I absolutely love getting my hair styled at Nikki's. I'm never disappointed. I've had a couple of braids come out but that was because at the time my hair was too short to catch onto the short hair at my nape was just growing back after a cut I was sporting prior. My hair is growing like crazy and I am so pleased.

Definitely a hidden “GEM” in Knightdale. I went to Nikki’s hair braiding for BOHO knotless twist after seeing some of their work on their Instagram page. Nikki was able to get me in with the 2 ladies that did the style I wanted the same day I called her. When I tell you they did a beautiful job on my BOHO knotless braids, they did a “BEAUTIFUL” job! Benita and Coco did my hair and I will forever go back to them. All of the ladies at this establishment are very professional and will get the job done! I was so satisfied with my service and hair that we took my daughter for service the very next day for knotless. And we LOVE hers also. They are perfect! Don’t walk, RUN to this establishment if you want to get the exact style you ask for. They will take really good care of you.

Avoid this business at all cost. The braiders were arguing with one another. I was double charged for one hair style. The owner is extremely untrustworthy I would advise against going to this establishment at all cost

The quality of braiding is questionable. The owner Nikki is running a credit card fraud scheme. the braider will take your card and run it twice. Then the owner pretends that it didn't go through and they couldn't get a receipt. I had a forced post to my account. I confronted the owner and she gave me a receipt. she then waited until I left the salon and charged me again. I am escalating this criminally because this isn't the first time she's done this to other consumers. Would avoid this salon at all cost.

Got my hair braided on a Friday. I have 2-4 inches of hair depending on which part of my head it is. I was under the impression that they could not only braid short hair but also tuck it for $220. I was very wrong. I was back one week later because my braids in the back literally fell out. None of my hair was tucked so my braids were extremely frizzy and where my hair was short, the braids were hanging on by a thread. They did redo the back of my head for free. But then the woman doing my hair said I should have gotten box braids and not knotless…. She could have told me that a week prior when she did my hair and I paid $220 because it was the same person! Going here was a waste of my time and money. They DO NOT tuck hair and CAN NOT do short hair. They will not tell you that before they start either. My braids were out within 2 weeks because even after being redone, they were close to falling out yet again. The photo shown is my hair at 2 weeks old to the day. They came out 5 days later because I mean look at them, i can only make that look presentable for but so long. No tucking even on the longest parts of my hair. Dont waste your money. Please learn from me.

I love Nikki hair braiding! I found them while I was in college and have been going ever since. Unfortunately, my most recent experience with them left me feeling very disappointed. I paid $260 for waist length braids and the finished product was not good. My braids were rushed, I had 5 braids fall out over the course of a week, some of the braids still had braiding hair not fulled braided, I reached out and asked could I come in and have them put the braids back in but was left on read/ignored. Overall my experience was not good and I’m really sad because I’ve always loved coming here.

I have had some great experiences and most recently a bad experience. My hair was sticking out my braids. The braider on my right cut my hair, and I told her to make sure that she did not cut my hair. Also, the knots were really big, especially in the front. The quality was not good, and I paid 200.00. I'm very disappointed.

I absolutely love this salon! I always see Codou and she goes above and beyond to assure I’m satisfied. I’ve been coming to see Codou here for over a year and I’m never not satisfied and I’m extremely picky when it comes to my hair. Booking is always easy and never any hassle to schedule. 10/10 recommended!Services: Braids

My experience at Nikki's started out bad but ended good. Two women started braiding my hair. The person that started braiding the front of my hair was braiding too tight! I thought she was going to pull out my hair. I had to raise my voice a little, and I told her to stop braiding my hair.The woman named Edwig was braiding the back of my hair, and she was very nice. She kept asking me if the braids were too tight or not. At first she was braiding a little too tight, and when I told her, she adjusted her braiding style, then my scalp started to feel much better. Edwig braided my hair all by herself, and she did an excellent job!I've been getting a lot of compliments about my hair.I definitely will be going back toNikki's! ?Thanks again to Edwig, because I was getting ready to leave the shop and go somewhere else!I just want to say to all hair stylists, please listen to your clients.
