Just purchased my second mower, an XT2, from Shane at Knightdale Tractor & Equipment. He’s a true professional with great knowledge of the equipment he’s selling. The service department there is fantastic, I bring my zero turn back there every year for a full service and they always take great care of me. I just bought my Scag Cheetah zero turn from here and had the greatest experience doing so! I came in and had many questions regarding several of the Scag mowers and Angelo was able to inform me on all options and make me feel confident in my purchase. He was also just a really nice down to earth guy! Very happy I chose to do business here!

Not overly thrilled with my experience buying a new Cub Cadet ZT1. Their website won't list the price unless you call and I'm assuming it's because of the additional costs above the Cub Cadet MSRP. They charge an additional $200 for 'dealer freight' and assembly. On top of that, $125 for delivery. I hoped after spending almost $4000 on a piece of equipment, they would comp or split the delivery but that wasn't the case.
Home Depot charges neither of those things. When I explained this to the salesman, I was met with indifference. I don't understand why the end-user would be responsible for paying dealer operating costs.
The only reason I ended buying it was because HD didn't have one available and I rented a trailer to haul myself. I hope to not have to bring my machine in for warranty service.

The woman at checkout was very rude in front of my two kids. She was only concerned about taking my money, not concerned about the questions I had about my chainsaw not being repaired properly the first time. I feel she could have been a lot more polite and nicer, especially after I been coming there for years to get my lawn equipment repaired/ serviced. I spent more money in repairs than what the chainsaw is worth. I would have been better off buying a new chainsaw. My kids couldn’t believe the way she talked to me like that in front of them. They were disappointed when they got back in the car. I will find another place for now on to take my lawn equipment. This business had lost a loyal customer forever. They are not concerned about your lawn equipment -only your money. She tried everything to make it look like it’s my fault that my chainsaw isn’t working properly again and made rude comments about it as I was walking out the door. This isn’t how you keep customers or do business. Warning -take your lawn equipment elsewhere, where it can be fixed properly the first time and don’t waste your money in multiple repairs like I did.

Absolutely wouldn't recommend this place! Brought lawn mower in initial phone call service said 2-3 days wait to get your lawn mower seen. That was a lie they had every excuse in the book from staff calling out of work.
When I picked up I specifically asked the service are you sure I don’t need it looked over inspected and a service done No you’re fine your mowers a great mower! Charged me over 300plus dollars to change belt and idler pulley what a joke Got home mowed lhalf lawn turned off mower and wouldn’t start at all ! Called service was told to bring it up there again after I had already waited before. Called owner was pointless all they did was try to tell me my mower was a bad mower ect and I needed a new one. Worst place I’ve ever expeiernced if I where you I’d stay clear of this place! Btw have phone record of service manager stating 2-3 day wait you guys are lying business in my opinion

I bought a cub cadet zero turn mower in 2021 and my sister-n-law bought a new cud cadet zero turn mower last week.
Their customer service is so awesome!

Bought a bobcat zero turn about a year ago and love it. Went and bought a scagg walk behind from them. Used it once and wanted to return or trade up for another zero turn (more expensive mower) because it just doesn’t have the power I was hoping for, they said, “ we just dont do returns or trade ins on walk behinds and maybe you could just sell it in market place or something.” I’ll do that! and when I’m ready to buy the more expensive mower I want instead and my other lawn equipment for my business, I’ll buy it somewhere else.
