Purchased a 2024 Toyota Camry. Antiquated, no new technology in it at all. KEY start, old no not a key fob. No back up warning no lane assist nothing. The dealership took advantage of us by not clearly stating that this Camry was lacking new safety features. My husband called the dealership and the salesman said he'd check on it and get back to him. Never did. Don't buy any car from there.

Worst dealership I have Ever been too and I've been to some Bad ones! To start with you can't access the lot or even get out of your vehicle without a salesperson being joined to your hip. Then while discussing my terms with the salesperson, a sales Manager aggressively approached me and engaged in a Very rude, disrespectful conversation with me in front of everyone including other customers. He basically told me pre-approval on a vehicle was useless at this dealership. Then asked me to disclose my credit score and income again out in front of everyone.. If you don't go along with their Steering you into their deal, this is what to expect! Remember it's Your Money so it's Your deal so it should go how YOU say it does! Everything about this dealership is Smoke and Mirrors! This dealership has a history of this kind of conduct so it has to be owner and management issues. Word of advice ANY dealership that doesn't post their prices Upfont on their website, keep looking! We online shop for Everything and a vehicle is no different. The days of tricks and high pressure sales tactics are OVER! I have shopped for my last 3 vehicles online and saved Thousands! I am going to also send this review to Toyota Corporation through their "Contact Us" link making them aware of how this dealership represents the Toyota brand and i encouurage everyone else to do the same. Obviously countless bad reviews and reports of this kind of conduct goes unnoticed so maybe they will have more luck getting change!..

Do not shop here - years later and they still act like it is peak 2020. Regardless of my experience, this location is still charging extreme dealer mark-ups while other dealerships have low or no mark-ups. I ended up getting my car from Toyota of Concord, exact same car and model, for a couple thousand dollars less. But the real reason I had a horrible experience is because they lied about the purchasing process and obviously didn't care enough about their customers. I ordered a vehicle through them and was told I would be notified at least a week in advance when the vehicle would arrive. When my estimated arrival date was drawing near they told me it would be late, but would call me the next week to give me an update and that the process would still be keeping me in the loop a week before my vehicle arrived. Well, over a week came and went and no calls. To add insult to injury, when I finally just worked through another dealership I get a random call telling me my vehicle was ready to pick up. No one week's notice like promised, no transparency, and obviously buying an almost 40K product wasn't enough to even care.

The service dept here ordered the wrong part 3 separate times all while refusing to give me a rental car while my car was in for a recall. It was embarrassingly bad, if u have to have ur car serviced at the dealership go to hendrick toyota in concord much better service. never go here

The Service Center experience I've had ranks as the most disappointing by far. My 2021 Tacoma developed an issue with its grille warping unusually. After the first replacement in May 2022, I encountered the same problem again in November 2022. Upon my second visit, they assured me they'd address the replacement, but surprisingly attributed the issue to sun exposure, despite my truck being parked in a garage during the day.Today, on August 8, 2023, I revisited for an oil change and to revisit the grille issue. Regrettably, I spent over two hours waiting in the lobby for the oil change, only to be informed by the service advisor that the shop manager hadn't yet examined the grille problem. Unable to continue waiting, I decided to leave.

STAY AWAY! Toyota North Charlotte prices their cars above everyone else. $37k for a Camry when other dealers sell for $32-34k. HIGH fees at Toyota of North Charlotte. Almost $800 admin fee!! Every other toyota dealer outside of Charlotte is much less. Watch out for smooth talking slimey salesman / "upgrade manager" Roger Dye. He is so smooth, he cons people into deposits/hold money on cars not even on parking lot. Very disgusting practices to work smoothly to take $1000 from people. This dealership should be ashamed in going for non refundable deposits. Especially $1000. Also Toyota North Charlotte prices their cars $3000-4000 above competing toyota dealers. Their finance and lease terms will rip you off! I warn u all, shop outside of Charlotte toyota dealers for GOOD deals. Every non charlotte toyota dealer is reasonable, with lower dealer fees too. I warn u all, DO NOT put deposits down. Roger is not compassionate to understand things change with car shoppers. I normally dont care do bad reviews but they deserve to be blasted all over unless they make things right

The last time I went to this dealership was a year ago for an oil change before a road trip. They forgot to put my under shield on, and it dragged until was able to tear it off on the side of the road at midnight. Young careless mechanic? and not good business regardless. Then I go for a tire alignment and thanks to my dash camera all I saw was they put air in my tires and still managed to charge me $30. I have dash cam video footage of the entire service and management reaches out telling me they won't refund or help me. Bad business and we work too hard for our money. Any location but here.

This location is the king of the phrase "Customer Wallet Flush" it's always a baffling experience bringing your vehicle here. A simple oil change always turns into 10 recommended services you don't need. From wiper blades which mine were fine, an engine air filter replacement which was just replaced a month ago, wheel alignments but my truck driving straight, oil treatment but ended up checking the oil myself and it's fine and I'm having no issues, fuel system cleaner... sure I guess but let me go to autozone and do that myself the next time I fill up my gas lol, top induction and injector services... all recommend but really not needed I'm not experiencing carbon build up or having any leaking, spraying, loss of power, misfires or odor of gases.. The other recommendation were a little more serious and expensive but made me question did they even look or just throwing stuff on my ticket because everything prior that I mentioned wasn't needed or just done. These recommendations were new rear brake pads, brake fluid exchange and coolant. Not wanting to pay toyota crappy service department I will of course have to get a second opinion from a more reputable shop. This was over a thousand dollars worth of recommendations and cost out of pocket for just an oil change. It happens every time I go into this dealership. I can't imagine what it's like for people that just don't know what their vehicle needs. I'm guessing a lot of people are taken advantage of because they always attempt it on me. If you don't have toyota warranty trust me when I say just go somewhere else! It will save you the stress or worrying is there something actually wrong when most likely there isn't. I can tell you where I won't be buying my next truck and that's toyota of north Charlotte!

Title: Extremely Dissatisfied with Service Experience at Toyota of North CharlotteI recently had a highly frustrating service experience at Toyota of North Charlotte that has left me thoroughly disappointed and dissatisfied. My 3.5-year-old Toyota Highlander experienced an airbag malfunction, and what followed was a series of inconveniences and unmet expectations.Firstly, I would like to highlight the exorbitant cost associated with this repair. While the dealership graciously covered the $1300 part, they refused to cover the nearly $500 labor cost. Considering the nature of the issue, which seems to be a potential safety hazard, I strongly believe this should have been treated as a factory recall matter. It is disheartening to see other Toyota models having recalls related to airbags while mine requires such an expensive repair without any assistance.Adding insult to injury, the entire process has been excruciatingly slow. It took a staggering two weeks for the part to arrive, and now I am expected to wait an additional week for the installation. This means that for almost a month, I have been subjected to the annoyance of blaring alarm bells every time I put the car in drive. Not only is this extremely distracting, but it also poses a genuine safety risk.Furthermore, I am deeply concerned about the overall reliability of the electronic components in my relatively young vehicle. When I chose Toyota over other cars in its class, I expected superior quality and longevity. Unfortunately, my experience with this airbag malfunction has shattered my confidence in the reliability of Toyota's electronics.Seeking resolution, I reached out to the Toyota Brand Engagement department, hoping for some assistance in resolving this matter with the dealership. To my dismay, they claimed they couldn't involve themselves in helping me, leaving me to deal with the uncooperative dealership on my own.Overall, my experience with Toyota of North Charlotte has been nothing short of disappointing. From the hefty labor costs to the extensive delays, lack of safety measures, and the absence of support from the Toyota Brand Engagement department, I have lost faith in the dealership's commitment to customer satisfaction. As a loyal Toyota customer, I expected better treatment and service. Regrettably, I cannot recommend Toyota of North Charlotte based on this experience, and I will be cautious in my future dealings with the brand.

Zero Stars. Buying a car is pretty easy but these guys made it the worst experience I've ever had. Randy is terrible and if he tries to sell you a car walk away.

Tons of sales calls if they had your number. But took weeks to get any response if there is a problem. And their response is based on their profit, not based on the truth, not based on the right thing to do, not based on treating customer right.Stay away from this dealership. Do not buy or service there. Or once you have a problem, you will have tons of heartaches.

Dishonest, rude and lousy work that needs re-do and refused re-doBought my car in for body shop service. They broke one part without telling me.Then I noticed they gave me another defective part. When I asked them to fix, they refused. And implying I did the damage myself. Even they are the ones who are lying. Their work quality is really bad with multiple issues. And their manager David is rude and had no patient to listen to women who is not native speaker.I just want to share the information so no other people have to go through the same thing I have to go through. Went back forth many times to the dealership at Huntersville. Lot of time and energy wasted and no resolution. I hope you make good choices when choosing the people who will service your car and do not have the same regrets as I am having now. Thanks for reading

Each time that Ive been in the market for a Toyota, I've visited this location but they consistently show that they aren't interested in my business. Ive found (and purchased) better deals at other local Toyota dealerships. This location will call and text many times after your visit but will never budge on their inflated prices. They will also try to sell you a vehicle that doesn't quite meet my desired options in order to sell whats on their lot. While I understand this may tactic may work for some customers, I go in knowing what I like and what I want on my vehicles. Big turn off!

I get it, inflation is eating into everyone's budget, including car dealerships. Inflation has made our lives more difficult. That's what makes my experience so much better. While traveling from Charleston, South Carolina, to Olean, New York (to spend the holidays with family), one of my windshield wipers stopped working. This happened as the remains of hurricane Nicole were sweeping up the east coast (I needed both wipers). This was on 11/11/2022.200 miles from home, 700 miles left to my destination, at 6:00 AM. I pulled into Toyota of North Charlotte and they got me back on the road in about an hour. It was a minor fix and they didn't charge me, even when I asked to pay something. They could have made a quick buck off of somebody in a difficult situation. They didn't. Instead they made my day. These folks care, and they care when times are tough (when it really counts). Thank you Toyota of North Charlotte.

I recently bought my first brand new vehicle! It was a Toyata Tacoma. I've always had used vehicles , and have done all my general maintenance myself like oil changes and brakes . I'm very hesitant on car dealerships and their service departments. This one seems to be nice so far , and they were very courteous. I will update this post after my first few "free" service calls...
