Ordered grocery pick up here because I had a flu shot scheduled. The grocery pick up went well and the young lady who called me to discuss what wasn't available was excellent - cordial and professional. Everything was brought to the car with no delay and the person was friendly. The pharmacist (Hartley was on his name tag) was unnecessarily rude to me and my husband and denied my flu shot without giving us an option to pay out of pocket. When we *politely* asked him about the insurance coverage (he said our insurance was not covering it despite our child having the same flu shot at a different Harris Teeter a few days prior), he abruptly and rudely told us he knew "how to do his job" because "he did it all day long". I want to stress that we were NOT rude to this man at all! He then questioned me twice about our insurance being the same as our child's. He clearly had some issue with us or is just a miserable person. I definitely wouldn't use the pharmacy again unless Hartley receives diversity training or an attitude adjustment.

The Sunset Lake Harris Teeter's produce is pretty poor. Yesterday I went to purchase a vegetable, for a recipe, but it was moldy. When I inquired with staff, they said it had just come in that morning which tells me they have problems with their supply chain. I understand most stores are having this issue these days, but then why can I get reasonably good produce at Wegman's, Publix, or Whole Foods?

Outrageous prices. Their latest rip off is advertising items on sale and then not stocking item. i.e. this week pork butt 99 cents lb but they don't have any,; 15 pkg cokes $7.99 but they haven't had any for past 3 weeks. Rip off!

Actually went in here due to Starbucks.. but from the looks of it store is nice and clean. They have something called Vic specials.. Also they have someone cleaning baskets off for your using due to COVID, which is great ( unwanted germs). Store just seem like you can find all your grocery needs without the crowds.

No curbside pickup for prescriptions even during COVID and staff didn't want to check system for my rx sent to the other location. I'll be switching pharmacies since this is so inconvenient

I've just recently started online ordering at this location due to Covid but also the convenience. I see there seems to be a lot of postings about customer service at this location and I can't help but need to weigh in. I called several times up there to add something to my order. The first time the woman hung up on me. I assumed by accident. I called back and politely let the associate know I needed to add a couple of items to my order if that was possible. I did try online first but it would not let me. The confirmation email I received said to call the store should you have any need to edit or cancel. This time the person didn't hang up but gave a very loud sigh / sound of frustration as if I had just ruined her day... I may look at Lowe's or another option. Really disappointed because I've been a loyal HT customer for years. Even worked there through High School and part of college. I'm disappointed to see that the customer service here is lacking.

I shop at this Harris Teeter quit often. The people who work here are very nice. I look forward to seeing them at checkout and chit chatting with them. The prices are a bit high, but that's to be expected at Harris Teeter. I know many employees by name and Bonita, Sophia, Doug, and Terri (I'm sorry if I misspelled names) are some of my favorites. Bonita works really hard and always makes time to ask me how my family is doing. Sophia is just a sweetheart! She is always smiling. I always see Doug working all around the store. He is always working hard. Terri is really nice. I really like her. She's quite fun to talk to. I go to this store because they treat me like family. I don't get this at Lowe's at all.

This is my least favorite Harris teeter grocery store around. Customer service is nonexistent, it's never staffed, and the people they do have are not trained properly at all. Countless times of trying to check out and having only 1 register open while the managers stand at the front of the store watching the chaos, never pitching in. We've caught the produce being restocked on several occasions by dumping new produce over the old. My husband even stopped one day to help the young man with restocking the avocados and the poor kid's response was, "oh I don't eat avocados". Not his fault he was putting hard avocados on top of ripe ones, he probably wasn't trained properly. Associates hurry by you and don't make eye contact, very little pride in the management of this store. I'll go to fuquay or tryon, or skip Harris teeter all together for the Lowe's foods or the food lion near by. Such a shame, corporate needs to get involved.

I have to agree poor customer service. I use the self check out at other stores and when I need help I receive it. I was not greeted by any employees while I was in the store. I needed assistance to have my water scan because I have heart problems but was just ignored by the cashier. I will not visit this store again.

Quite possibly the worst Harris Teeter I've ever visited. I know how hard the company tries to promote excellent customer service and this location missed the mark. I usually would not write a review for a grocery store, but this experience made me very unhappy. After ordering our subs ahead, I asked the woman at the counter if she had the other two in the order. I was very polite but was greeted with an unfriendly face and a "what do you need". At self checkout, the sub didn't ring for the sale price (no big deal) but when I tried to catch the attention of the guy, he repeatedly told me to "just press card" in an annoyed voice. To top it all off, as we were backing out, the bagger/cart attendant waved us along in a very rude way to tell us to hurry up. It sounds like this all couldn't be true but sadly it was. I will never return to this location, but other Harris Teeters are always on point. Customer service is clearly not a priority here.

No customer service. Mary at check out was bothered that I did not know the cost of the firewood outside. When she was done ringing me up she did not put my one bag in reach. They will not treat you this way at Publix's.

Very unpleasant experience from start to finish. Took 30 mins to check out for a small order. Also I didn't like their new rainck policy in which you can't use coupons now with raincks. Had the items been available I wouldn't need a raincheck! However, if the items were in stock, then I could have used my coupon at the time (makes no sense). I don't see how it matters so I contacted the corporate and Executive Office for a response. Spoke with the manager there (David), he didn't seem to care at all about my experience or my rainck concerns. Then a cashier at the neighboring lane bumped me with a cart and didn't bother to apologize. I will never shop there again ...
