The staff here are rude and unhelpful. After waiting in a very long line (that wrapped around near the back of the store) to pick up my in-store order, the cashier stated that I would need to wait in the line again to return an item.. despite having just waited in the long line to pick up my order (that was also missing an item I had paid for). I would avoid this location if possible in the future. Not worth the hassle.

I'm from Wilmington originally and I've been to this chain from Myrtle Bch SC to Raleigh, NC and all over from there to ILM. This is by far the store that offers the least.....including the checkout clerk I encountered this evening around 5:30/6:00pm. Very rude. Idk why I'm surprised...the quality of retail employees have been suffering. Sad.

I was in the other day to buy some art supplies and I overheard the people at the photo center getting WHITE SUPREMACY posters printed off and the employee was more than okay with it. This SHOULD NOT be allowed to be printed off in a craft store!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING and that's coming from a white female.

I love visiting Michael's. Every time I go there I spend way too much time browsing around and thinking up ideas. Everyone on staff is super sweet and they have such an excellent selection!

I visited this location on a Monday afternoon with one other person. These are my thoughts and observations. - The store is well maintained and bright. It's easy to find what you're looking for. - Some of the more popular thread colors were out of stock. - Their selection of hoop sizes is lacking. - The lines move quickly. - The employees are unprofessional. They were gossiping the whole time I was being checked out. - The guns the cashiers use make scanning small items a pain. Overall, you get a great first impression walking in, but you won't be able to find everything you need and will have to go to a second store anyways.

I used to shop at another craft store because Michaels was so junky and cluttered. Then this Michaels came to town and it's great! It's clean and we'll organized. I don't really talk to staff often, but they seem friendly enough when I do. My only criticism is the check out. Almost everytime I go they have a huge line and hardly any registers open. It seems to be an ongoing problem. The majority of my time in the store seems spent waiting line. I will continue to shop here, just frustrating.

I love Michaels. The amount of coupons that they send out are great! Make sure to sign up for the emails (yes I hate emails too) because they send coupons that are not in their flyers!!! Yesterday I saved $20 with the coupons I used (: Only con - wish they have an area Dedicated to wreath making and the materials needed (:

I really enjoy visiting this Michaels mainly because it is in Holly Springs Towne Center which is rarely busy. This Michaels store is both clean and organized. Before I visit I go on their website and text a 40% off one item coupon to my phone.

Craft stuff is great here. However, I witnessed VERY unprofessional behavior from a woman who is a manager here tonight. Worker behind the register called another employee up to help her with the customer in front of me and the worker who helped was about to go on break and had a drink in his hand...no big deal, he was going on break. This manager comes storming up yelling at the worker who asked for help about the other worker who came and helped her asking what he was doing behind the register with a drink and was mad at them for doing their job ! The worker who was going on break was nice enough to take a couple of seconds to help this poor girl behind the register and the manger blew up about it ! I felt so bad for them...made me so sick. I hope whoever this manager is sees this review somehow ! Treating your employees like animals in front of your customers is totally unacceptable and inappropriate and will make you and the company look horrible. Will be contacting someone about this !

Love the customer service in the store! We originally thought we needed custom framing and the staff in that department was very helpful. They actually have a computer system where you can see the different colors, styles, and frames on your certificates. The staff then recommended a less expensive solution and they had the frame size we needed. The store is always clean and organized.

I come here way too often, spend too much money, and I just can't stop. When I forget to order cake decorating supplies online in bulk I come to Michael's. When I decide I'm going to be crafty and make something, I come to Michael's. They even have great home decor, and you can't beat the coupons (or the app!). Love it!

Arts, crafts, framing, bridal, you name it. The Michael's app currently doesn't work for discounts. You'll need to pull up the full website on your smartphone and use the coupon barcode from that or bring the paper coupon. The employees are pretty good about giving the discount if you don't have a coupon. However, don't count on it because that's generally not what I've experienced at the Michael's stores in NY where the rule is: "no ticky, no washy." Maybe it's different here but it's a little too soon for me to tell. We accidentally broke the glass on a picture frame while ransacking the place (kidding, John N). My hubby was set on paying for it but they took the frame and even offered to call another store for a replacement. Overall, a great new Michael's where you can get down with your crafty self.
