While they offer delivery, I wanted to pick up my furniture so Diane worked with the warehouse to allow me to pick it up on a Saturday. Her suggestions and communications were terrific and helpful. The furniture delivered today and it's absolutely perfect. The delivery was smooth and professional. Importantly, no damage. Goods made sure the delivery went smoothly. My advice is to be very specific up front about your delivery requirements. When the delivery came, the furniture was very well wrapped and padded. And they had the correct equipment to move things safely. We could not be happier, and I think it strikes a nice balance between beachy and sophisticated.”

“While driving from Charlotte to Raleigh today, I had the pleasure of meeting Matthew at store # 206 in Hickory, N.C. when I stopped in to check out a Queen Bed I had seen online. From the time we entered the store to the time we left Matthew was very professional, friendly, helpful and had great customer service! He greeted us as soon as we walked in even while helping 2 other customers. He showed us the Queen Bed we were in search of and even took the time out to call a closer store to us to see if they had it in stock. He went a step further and measured it for us so that we could see if it would fit in our trunk. And even though we couldn't leave with it, we purchased and will return to pick it up. Matthew thank you for all your help and being such a GREAT employee! I recommend this location to anyone looking for great customer service and furniture at an affordable price!”

“I am not a huge fan of the Hickory Furniture Mart in general. I think a lot of the stuff is overpriced and average quality... Amish Oak & Cherry on the other hand is top notch! I've actually decided never to go in this store again, at least not until I win the lottery. Everything they have is gorgeous and it looks and feels to be top quality stuff. It's all pretty pricey, but at least you can see why it costs so much. You can see the quality materials and craftsmanship that went into it. One day when I win the lotto I will return and will furnish my whole house with Amish Oak and Cherry.”
“Mary took care of us without a fault. After assisting us with our chair purchase and confirming only one was available she spent some time going over options. She had excellent ideas and combinations after getting a flair for our home environment we were creating. We found what we liked somewhere else but weren’t sure of combination of those chairs. “Great selection of quality leather couches. Bought a great couch set from them over 15 years ago. After years of heavy wear, it was time for replacement. Shopped extensively everywhere for a new and improved model, but found nothing that I liked more than my old set. Journeyed from out of state to their store and with the help of Mike Allen, reordered the identical custom leather couch set from 15 years past. Delivery for the beautiful new custom set took a very long time. To be expected after Mike went to the above and beyond extreme. He negotiated to have the Leather and More leather manufactured and embossed by them and shipped to another leather Canadian manufacturer (as my old couch was no longer being made by the old manufacturer). The new manufacturer made the couch with the shipped leather (as they didn't have the old style leather) and shipped the couch back to Leather and More and everything was finally shipped to me! Mike understood I really would not be satisfied with anything else, and made it happen. How often is service like this delivered? Upon disposal of my old couch, I removed some of the old leather from the old couch (as some of it was still in excellent shape and identical to my new leather) for potential repairs in the future. Once again it was confirmed that these sets are extremely well made. Viewing the construction interior and the leather placement set aside any possible concerns of an inferior product. The selection at Leather and More varies in price point. If you have interest in a variety of options, from standard to custom, I highly recommend you give them a look.”
