This has taken me a month to write after the loss of my sweet boy, JJ. He was an 11 year old tuxedo cat and was strictly indoors. Because of this, I hadn’t gotten him established with a vet since he moved in with us from my mom in NY a few years ago. We never had any issues with him so when he started hiding under the bed and acting differently.. I knew something was wrong. Forest Oaks is less than a mile from our house so it was a no brainer to bring him here. From the moment I called (and cried) every person I spoke to was kind, caring and attentive. I told them what was happening with JJ and they had me bring him the next morning to get examed. Dr. Coble called me himself after he examed JJ, and said we could have a few possibilities on our hand- maybe diabetes but would need to recheck his levels after a few days. We spent the next few days stopping in and out and picking up medicines but JJ was going down hill fast. 2 weeks later we made the incredibly difficult decision to say goodbye and end his suffering. Dr. Coble mailed a hand written card to us a few days after this and I was truly blown away by this act. The staff here treated us like they’d known JJ his whole life, from the ladies at the front desk to Dr. Coble himself. One of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do was say goodbye but am truly so thankful to have come here and meet this team. If you’re considering Forest Oaks as your vet, do it. You will not be disappointed by their level of care and compassion.

We had to put our 16 year old dog down. The whole staff was so gentle and kind during our experience.

Morning staff was not friendly.. They acted as if we had shown up too soon and needed time to get ready even though we were told to arrive at 7:30. Afternoon staff was very friendly and gave excellent instructions on how to care for our dog after his surgery

Dr Kleish is the most attentive, kind hearted veterinarian you could ever ask for. He never makes me feel rushed and genuinely loves what he does. He treats my furry friends like they are his own each and every time. I even moved half an hour away and still make the drive back to keep him as our provider. The entire staff is super friendly too. Highly recommend!!!

Had my appt to get my long haired cat a steroid shot for some skin irritation and a sanitary trim. They had me drop her off for the sanitary trim because they said she needed to be sedated and it would be later to pick her up. Get her home and let her out. No sanitary trim. I called and asked about it and they told me it was too short and there was nothing to trim and she would just get razor burns. Had her in there for a sanitary trim before and she was shaved around the backside no problem. Attaching photos of the "too short to trim" fur they couldn't trim. So they left my cat in a carrier for 6 and a half hours for a shot....I am not happy.

I fully trust the team at Forest Oaks and am more than happy with the care that my baby Wiggy has received from them. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and I know Wiggy is safe while in their care.

Called at the last minute and they were more than happy to identify the object (leg of a stuffed animal) that my new baby threw up!!! Only having labs before and never owning a Chihuahua I had no idea he would be able to swallow a item that big!!! I love my new Vet Clinic!!!!
