“XXL lifting belts are very hard to find locally, but LARRY'S had one in stock. It sure beat ordering online because I was able to try it on "before" I bought it.Since 1995 I have enjoyed this gym. It's a great place to train and get "ALL" of your supplements too.”

“If you're looking to join any gym, I promise you will not find one better than Crossfit Goldsboro. The facility, community, coaches, schedule and price is truly unmatched. I was only in Goldsboro for 5 weeks (working on a rotation out of Chapel Hill) and had only minimal exposure to crossfit gyms beforehand. I naturally felt a little nervous before walking into my first workout but very quickly knew I made a great decision. The gym and workouts are a great environment for all levels of fitness and was the perfect amount of intimidating, only in the sense that trying new exercises can be intimidating. Mike, the owner, and all of the coaches were extremely welcoming and will make a point of encouraging you by name at each workout. I'm looking for a similar gym now that I'm back home and I just don't think one exists, particularly for the price.TLDR: Don't think for a second longer and just join this gym! Your body and mind will thank you.”

“The staff are helpful and equipment in working condition. Some of the treadmills could probably be replaced. If you’re coming here at night, your vehicle will be fine but there is random homeless that will not leave you alone if you sit there in the parking lot.”

“What do you want when you come to the gym? Probably a workout that makes you test yourself mentally and physically. Well, you're not only going to get that here, but you'll also get coached by some of the nation's finest CrossFit coaches. You're going to feel welcomed, because people at this box are laid back and supportive. You may even get an opportunity to vote for which animal would win in 1 v. 1 battle. Go here.”

“They have a jail cell for your young ones.-----Very funny to see these kids just be plopped into a 4x4 play pen with some discarded toys strewn about, but it was definitely distracting when I was working out in front of it and the kids kept going “mama…mama…” “daddy!” - calling out for their parents lolOther than that, this gym has A LOT of equipment, but is always packed after work. Would definitely recommend going after hours.The female bathrooms are gross and stuffy. No toilet paper in most stalls, and they just had a small open bin in front of the stalls to put used pads and tampons in. They have a sauna though.”

“Let me start by saying that I love this place, I’ve been going to this place for many years but today we had a misunderstanding about the kids cove rules. I started taking my children to the kids cove in January; I added them to my membership 30 dollars a month, I was not given any kids cove rules, the next day one of the kids cove ladies looked for me to tell me that they were going to close the kids cove so I went to get my kids and took a picture of the kids cove scheduled placed on the door. Today one of the kids cove ladies went to look for me again and I was told they only keep kids for 2 hrs , and I was given a warning and I was told that if it happens again they are going to reduce my time 15 mts and also she gave me a kids cove rules paper, pretty nice ladies in the kids cove by the way; So I left since my time was up and called the gym and Sam answered the phone, I asked him why I was not given a kids cove rule paper when I signed my kids? ; his answer was that he had already spoken with me about this issue ; which him and I never had a conversation about the issue previously ; apparently he signed up my kids from what he told me but he never gave me the kids cove rules and only took my money and had me sign up on the computer only , I guess he was in a hurry! I didn’t like the fact that he lied about it, instead of apologizing , he made it seemed like it was my fault, to me that’s very poor customer service skills to be working in the front desk, other than that this is an awesome place, this is the only complaint I have ever had in many year of going to Golds gym. If you signing up for anything at Golds just make sure you ask for rules documents.”

“Evidently Patrick Eason is an idiot and doesn't know what he is talking about. I have been to several YMCA locations around NC and think Carl is one of the best Aquatic managers I have seen yet. I would defiantly recommend the Goldsboro YMCA pool to anyone”
