They scammed me out of my money and now I have to go give someone else my money to get it fixed. I wish we had legal protections for auto mechanic scams.

Brought vehicle in due knocking sound /no heat to defrost windows +alignment:Quoted $1500+ diagnostic to find problem agreed Drivers license provided to start work . Then called and said your car is Ready but your water pump leaking add'l $1000.00 .
Paid quoted price went to car guess what No heat vent only blowing cool air ? Went back inside and informed problem to sales / Justin (manager). Per sales rep Issue will not resolve until you pay an additional $1000.00 to replace water pump . what did I pay 1500.00 for ? I would have said cancel/STOP all work . NOTHING AND THE MANAGER ACT SO NON CHALLANT LIKE IT WOULD COST THAT ANY WAY.

I am very disappointed in the way my repair was handled for my vehicle. I took my vehicle here for an AC repair. I was given an invoice for the repair which I paid. Two days laters the AC stopped working again and this shop re-inspected the vehicle. The shop determined that there was a new issue with the AC which would need to be repaired. I had another shop to look at the vehicle who determined that Precision Tune repaired the wrong AC issue. The compressor needed to be repaired the entire time. I could have saved money if Precision Tune had repaired the correct issue the first time. I try to be fair to service providers but I do not feel that I was treated fairly by this shop for this vehicle.

Had my truck towed here to get looked at telling them it needs a new fuel pump. Warranty was under Car max care.
They replaced the batteries and said it was good. After test driving it, my truck was still having the same problems and needed a new fuel pump like I told them. On top of that they charged me for the batteries and what’s even worst comes to find out my tool box was stripped with over 4k of tools was stolen. They claim they have nothing to do with it and can’t do nothing about it with no cameras around. This place is a joke and cost me to much money and have 0 reliability

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. It was suggested from Maxcare (associated with Carmax) for me to take my vehicle to this shop. I will never take my car back to this shop even if it was the answer to the salvation of my soul. Anyone who reads this please be aware do not take your vehicles to this shop or maybe even this chain of shops, Precision Tune Auto Care corporate I hope you read this as well. My vehicle was taken to the shop because the vehicle engine would not turn over, we had power to the vehicle, but it would turn over. After the shop had my car for 3 days, I received a call stating the battery was dead. I told them to drive the vehicle because there was no way my vehicle had just a battery issue. The shop was adamant that the battery was the culprit however, the same day, I was called back and was informed that the fuel module was the issue. Nicely enough, Maxcare paid for the fuel module repair, but the cost for the battery replacement was $661, overpriced, and not worth anybodys hard earned money. As if the price gouge of the battery wasn't a bad enough issue by itself, the shop also messed up my fuel cap door. The spring to keep the door closed got messed up after the fuel module repair. When I spoke with the shop, they said they had no liability over this, and they would charge me to fix it. The nail in the coffin for this place is the fact my vehicle sat at their property for over a week to be repaired, there are no security cameras on the property at all and my tool box was pried open and just from a quick inventory well over $2,000 worth of tools and equipment was stolen from my vehicle. The shops response was essentially even though my vehicle was on company property they hav no liability and would not cover or help with anything. So the shop overcharged for a battery, they messed up my fuel door and they allowed my truck to be vandalized and have thousands of dollars stolen from my vehicle. The shop is not attempting to assist with anything even though the shop messed up my fuel door, and my tools were stolen while my vehicle was under their care. I hope this shop learns that if they continuously play this game of creating more damage to their customers, repercussions can affect your future clientele.

An AirTag was placed on my car without my permission and I stopped by here on a Friday. These guys were so helpful and assist me with removing the AirTag within 30 minutes. Very knowledgeable and efficient.

Ok first I dropped my vehicle off a day ago. Upon calling checking my status several times I was informed today my car was currently under the dock being looked at since they got backed up the yesterday. So they call & says more extended testing is needed to further diagnose so it was originally $30 then goes to over $120.00+ so I'm like ok as long as we can diagnose the problem. So SUMN wasn't sitting right with me so before leaving for work I told my ride take me by there. Car wasn't even under the dock problem never even diagnosed. So I request my car... Then they say give them 10min. to work up charges Which turns into 20 min. So I'm like hey gotta go what's going on??? I'm informed my battery was dead absolutely nothing was wrong with my battery upon leaving my car. Then they produced a bill of $130 I said absolutely not nothing has even been diagnosed it hasn't even been ran yet then I come back to a dead car Wow!
They were Awesome back in the day I was extremely disappointed....

I have been doing business with precision tune for over 6 years. The last few times I brought my cars in for something to get fixed, I've been getting charged for stuff that's not even wrong with the car. The prices for parts and labor is out the roof and definitely not affordable anymore. It is bad when you pay top dollar for the so called warranty and they don't honor it. Precision quoted me for a upper and lower intake gasket plus the valve cover gaskets for $1500.00. I work with certified mechanics and there willing to do the job for $250.00. But precision done the work prior when my engine was put in. Smh, precision prices are unreal and ridiculous!!!

Car went in for service on Monday, was promised 2 days… Needless to say, car didn’t go into for repairs until Friday… No communication and no responsibility… Sould not recommend multi day service because they can’t communicate when your car is gonna go in or be finished… worst customer service in a while

I have been coming here for years with two vehicles. Today one of the mechanics decided to rummage through my glove box and claimed to put my registration notification in there. Of course he did not do that, as a matter of fact "lost" the paperwork or so he claims. I just know if anything happens with my information or the information of the car, like insurance, salvage claims etc. I know I will let the police know immediately.

I've been to a couple of Auto shops in the area. This is the only one I trust. Great service, great mechanics and a fair price.

I will never take my car here again. They tried to charge me over $1000 for a starter that I didn’t even need. I just needed to change my battery.
