Unable to return a product purchased yesterday. I purchased a controller from them yesterday since one of mine broke during a move. I went to return it the next day and was told because I removed the tape I wasn’t able to return it. The controller was never used because I found an old controller that worked when I got home. Instead of taking care of the customer or offering a smaller “Open Box” refund they sent me packing
I will NEVER buy from GameStop again. Walmart is next door and they accept open item returns. Go purchase from a better company. Selling ALL of my shares of GameStop stock because of this single interaction. By far the worst experience I’ve had in a retail store in a while

I was told by an employee that most of the workers buy most of the cool or highly sought after collectibles for their resell value before customers even get a chance to buy them or browse. Most the time u get an employee with a real sarcastic attitude every time u speak to them it gets old.

Great customer service. I'd been searching for a last minute gift. They were able to identify that they had what I needed over the phone. It saved me the trip if they didn't have it.

I had an issue on a product I was returning in the warranty window, first off if it’s a mistake on the stores part for mislabeling a product for warranty it should all fall on the store not the customer. Long story short two years ago I bought a headset an sales associate mislabeled my warranted item so came time when said product was giving me issues I returned to the store to claim my warranty. I was told it was mislabeled and not the original product, okay not my problem that’s a stores problem but anywho was told to call customer service and see where it goes. They couldn’t help me and said it was a store issue i had to resolve with the said store. I go in the next day and was told theirs nothing that they can do about it. Lost a long time customer will never do business again ✌?.
