“The BEST gym in the RTP area. Not only are the members incredibly welcoming the coaches do an incredible job of assessing each athlete and making sure each workout is tailored to each person. “I've been going here from some time now, and it's been a very good experience. I mainly do weightlifting there, and since there's over 10 racks there, I've never had an issue finding a spot to lift. During the middle of the day, it's fairly empty, so there's maybe only 1-3 other people there during off-peak hours. Even in peak times, I see everyone working in with each other without any hassle.Desmond recently gave the place a really nice renovation with some new racks, so it's looking good there. Even before then, the gym's got all the equipment I need to get my workout done and then some. I always feel welcome here, and Desmond greets me by name anytime he sees me come in.If you just want to lift and don't need classes/training, the $20/mo is absolutely a great deal.”

“I got the opportunity to join FitLab after my previous box unexpectedly relocated to a different location. I’ve been at FitLab for 3.5 months and it’s a great place to train. The owners are present and truly care about what you are getting out of the process. The coaches are knowledgeable and run you through proper warm ups prior to strength and conditioning sessions. Highly recommend this place to anyone.”

“This studio is something special. The coaches are all amazing and the head coach, Erinn, really sets a high bar.I started taking Orange Theory classes in July of 2022 with a fair bit of trepidation. I was worried it would feel like some kind of fitness cult. Although I have always had a BMI below or within average ranges, I was never in great shape and struggled with significant muscle weakness. I decided, as a very research-oriented person, that the best thing to do to prepare for my new era of aging was resistance training.I had a pretty bad shoulder injury when I started, and was afraid to use anything but the lightest weights. Coach Erinn has helped me more than my PT with form, advice, and encouragement.In two years, going very slowly and sometimes not super consistently, I’ve gone from using 5 and 8 lb handweights and not even being able to do wall push ups without pain to being able to squat 70lbs, do 15 pushups (from my toes) in a row. My cardiovascular health (from running) has also improved greatly. I don’t suffer from exercise-induced asthma while running anymore.The best things, though, are 1)that I’m still injury free and 2)that we have an amazing community at this studio. I’ve taken OTF classes around the US during travel . While they’ve all been great, MLK has a really special camaraderie and diversity. The glue is the head coach. Some of the other studios have a competitive edge that isn’t my jam. Here, everyone cheers each other on in a very healthy way.Even the front desk staff (especially Della) are amazing! Always very professional, always going above and beyond, always providing top notch customer service.Our coaches deserve the best—my only hope is that Big OTF gives them plenty of incentive to stay. This feels like my fitness “home” and I hope it stays that way for many years to come!”

“I joined Orange Theory with my neighbor out of desperation to find a workout plan that would stick. I had zero motivation to actually complete workouts on my own- and when I did I would do the minimum possible. As a former collegiate athlete I knew I needed help. I have been apart of the OTF community for over 8 months now and LOVE IT! It is the most efficient work out- 30 min of rowing/weight lifting and 30 min on the treadmill. I love that all I have to do is show up- and just follow instructions for an hour ! No planning out the workout or picking a playlist. I love all the data you get about yourself after each workout. It feels like going to a team practice - the southpoint location is super friendly and supportive! The coaches push me in a way I would never push myself. I started out on the most basic power walking level with no intention to move up. Now I can run for 24 min straight!!! Highly recommend!”

“I have been coming to Bull City CrossFit for the last 4 months and I have been extremely impressed. The coaches are very good at helping you grow, but they don’t push you beyond your limits. They give great tips, help you work around injuries and provide scaled workouts for all fitness levels. I have been to 4 other CrossFit gyms over the years and this is the my favorite one! I suggest giving them a try - even if CrossFit is outside of your comfort zone. It’s a very accommodating gym with excellent coaches that help you reach your goals!”

It has a wide variety of activities to do and it doesn’t have that pump it up atmosphere like the chains do. Pool, jacuzzi, track inside and out and a fitness center with everything you need. “This Orangetheory location has been great across all levels. The front desk staff and the coaches are all friendly and welcoming. Coach Tom is always kind, helpful, gives both encouraging and constructive feedback, and he pushes everyone to their best potential. Coach Alex is fun, high energy, and she coaches/communicates in a way that’s clear and easy to understand for both beginners and more experienced members. The coaching is consistent so no matter whose class you’re taking, it’s going to be a positive experience. You can tell they’re both passionate about what they do and it shows. The studio is always clean and well taken care of. I would highly recommend Orangetheory, particularly the Brier Creek location, to anyone!”

“Velocity is a moderate size gym with a variety of equipment for newbies to power lifters. The front desk staff is friendly and professional. Childcare personnel is kind and personable. The bathrooms are clean. There are cleaning stations throughout the gym to sanitize equipment. My personal favorite person/instructor, Christin Pearson, teaches a variety of classes: Boot Camp, Dance Fitness, HIIT, Turnup, and Yoga; whatever you body needs to reach its goals she will get you there with a smile! Your first visit to Velocity is free. It’s definitely worth it.”
