“Love Home Goods! Hate the crowds but the store is great which is why it's crowded all the time. This one is a great shopping center close to Target, Michael's, Kirkland's and some food places. The store can feel cluttered but has great selection. I always go here for olive oil or salt and pepper because it is always cheaper here than in the store. I also love the teas they have. Nice furniture options too, but can be pricey compared to At Home. The staff is always nice and the lines are long but never take forever to get through.”

“This store is currently supporting a charity for diabetes. I got into an interesting, and rather unpleasant discussion with one of the employees about the differences between the two major types of diabetes: Type 1 diabetes (formerly referred to as childhood diabetes - this term is medically outdated) and Type 2 diabetes. Primarily differentiating the two is the cause; T1D is an autoimmune disorder where your body attacks the native pancreatic beta cells that produce insulin. The body uses insulin to uptake glucose from the bloodstream and store it in your cells! Individuals with T1D DO NOT have the ability to intrinsically produce insulin, therefore people with T1D WILL be insulin dependent. Type 2 diabetes is caused by the overuse or inefficiency of the pancreas resulting in insufficient production of insulin from the beta cells (also known as islet of langerhans). These individuals MAY need insulin, though T2D can be managed with oral medications. I care very much about this cause and hope this can help someone learn more about diabetes!Thank you to the cashier today who was very kind. I did not catch her name. “I enjoy shopping Big Lots. You never know what you might find. I ordered a few items online and stopped in to pick them up. I was unable to find them at my local store and this Durham location had them. Upon entering, the staff member quickly pulled my items that I paid for online. I didn't have time to look around but the store appeared clean with minimum clutter.”

“We used the drive up service again. It is even smoother, faster and more efficient than when we last used it. We ordered from home and headed to the store. We clicked that we were in the drive up lane and our order was at our car in less than a minute. The young lady was very professional and friendly and placed our order in our trunk. We were in and out in less than 5 minutes. Very impressive operation.”

“This is my favorite target!! It gets pretty crowded, but they always have what I need. Everything is neat and organized, and the groceries are pretty reasonably priced even though Target can be known for being on the more expensive side. I like that the self checkout is 10 items or less, it makes it go by much faster and is great for a quick trip in and out. I also use the drive up service all the time, which is super convenient. Also, it's in a great shopping center near Home Goods and Michael's and a few good food places. Great for a quick shopping day.”

I hadn’t shopped at Lucky before but was up to try something new as I has spent hours at Southpoint trying to find a pair of jeans - and had nothing to show for it. Abby was incredible – pulled different cuts and finishes, helped me figure out sizing issues, and truly knows her product. I walked out with multiple “favorite” pairs. I had an exceptional experience and will go to Lucky’s only from here on.”
