Purchased a Groupon and booked an appointment several weeks into the future. A week later someone reached out to say that they are no longer accepting Groupons. Then got an email saying my appointment was cancelled. Didn't even give me a chance to keep the appointment and use the amount of the Groupon toward a regular priced service, which is stated in the fine print of the Groupon. I thought the business made a commitment to Groupon and is supposed to honor it. I guess I was mistaken. Will be requesting a refund from Groupon and unlikely to purchase a Groupon anytime soon.
