I can’t speak for the contents of the store itself, but I was a bit upset when I was told over the phone that they accept donations until 30 mins before store close, only to arrive >30 mins before close and be informed that they are no longer accepting donations for the day. If you plan to donate, just make sure you’re there well before close.

I’ve been to many Restore locations, and this is by FAR the most expensive I’ve ever seen. They’re selling thrifted furniture at or above retail price. I saw many items listed from $100 - $125. I’m choosing to believe that whoever is setting these prices must be unfamiliar with the concept of secondhand stores, because I would hate to think that they’re just THAT greedy. Unfortunately, this is one of the only “thrift” stores in Clayton, so they get to price gauge all of us. I hope they rethink their pricing strategy.

I'm sorry but who is doing the pricing here? Furniture covered it stains and scuff marks are still $200+? Maybe if yall didn't overprice everything, you might be able to sell more. Be more realistic.

Robert is rude and told me something different than the actual restore website. I called ahead and checked website to make sure they could take my items, then when I get there he refused them including mirrors with frames which the website literally says are acceptable. I guess he just didn’t feel like dealing with it. I will not donate or shop here again. There are better places for both in Clayton.Edit: just came to Goodwill in Clayton and my items were accepted so now they’ll actually make it to someone else in the community.

I’ve been going here for years. The staff has always been nice to me. As for prices…if you begrudge a non profit for making money to carry out a mission of housing and helping people who need it then just be quiet and move on. You’re probably the same people who’ll pay $12 for a bid wiser at a concert and not mind. And umm hello inflation…anyone heard of that? Lol I built an entire retail store with items purchased from Restore. And it’s gorgeous!!! I repurposed items that otherwise would have hit the land fill AND helped a great charity. Win win. Keep up the good work team Restore!

Not as big as the Raleigh or Durham store but this store has a nice selection of very nice things. The people who work here are very helpful.

I’ve done lots of thrifting and this is probably the most expensive thrift store in the Raleigh area! I don’t understand how they figure the pricing on their home goods! $3 for a tiny, stained and broken basket? That would be 50 cents anywhere else! The prices on their home goods are double what most thrift stores charge in this area. Don’t waste your time
