This is the only place I’ve ever found that had a fully stocked building of strictly handmade Native American arts and goods. The two people working there were super kind! Great prices (remember handmade goods come with a well-deserved price), great selection, and historical media is available if you’d like to learn more about the Cherokee nation. I’ll be back!

Stopped for the boiled peanuts. They are a must have. The lady inside is the sweetest woman. Lots of crafts and food to buy.

What a cool place. Everything there is handmade and done by people of the Cherokee tribe. What they have is authentic. Be careful in Cherokee as there are a lot of knockoffs.

I’ve camped in Cherokee, NC several times and have never had the time to stop at this cool shop. It was everything that I had hoped it would be. Kind and attentive owner and staff. They sell unique items handmade by individuals. I only wish they sold T-Shirts with the shop name on them, I’d certainly wear one.

The store has a lot of nice stuff. I go in every time I am in Cherokee for the past 20 years and stop and see what is new. The store has more touristy items as opposed to authentic Indian crafts. They do well with the boiled peanuts. Sadly, the pandemic has changed the world for the worst!! Most of the older carvers are no longer with us. There are many new young carvers. However, they have yet to catch the magic and the intensity as the older carvers. Does that make sense??? .... In time, the situation will change.
The staff is nice upon entering the store. However, it appears that making a sale is more important. Over the years, the friendless is gone. It's about making money, and the passion of presenting authentic indian crafts to customers is gone. As for the owner, now I know why the workers treat customers badly. It seems a common theme in some reviews.

The coolest store in Cherokee and the only place I go everytime I'm in town. Better than the museum because you can buy these treasures.

I love to stop here! It's changed over the last few years, more cluttered and less of the hand and home made things I look for. But still a great place to stop and look.
