My 15-year old pup, Maggie, was finally ready to cross the Rainbow Bridge. I entrusted that part of her journey to Dr. Dan. He was awesome.These are the most difficult things you’ll ever go thru. But Dr. Dan handled it patiently, sensitively, skillfully, and with compassion. Our Maggie spent her entire life being an amazing. Although we already miss her terribly, I take some solace knowing that in her final moments she was surrounded by peace, comfort and love. She's finally at peace.

So thankful for Dr. Dan & his service.? He was so kind to us and our kitty. We had an emergent need for his help and he was able to squeeze us into his schedule. I highly recommend Gentle Sleep for any pet owner looking for in-home service & cremation. It is such a tough series of choices to make but I was comforted to know Dr. Dan had our backs.

Our baby who had been sick for a few months took a bad turn over the weekend. My fiancee called Monday morning after we made the decision to let her go. I cannot say how incredibly compassionate Dr. Dan was was in helping us through the tough time, and we are thankful we used him for this service.

Dr. Dan has wonderful, empathetic and compassionate bedside manner. He is truly one of a kind and I feel so lucky to have found him during our time of need. He is responsive, understanding as well as extremely knowledgeable. Thank you, Dr. Dan!

I would not recommend calling Dr.Dan for a pet service. He is only interested in this specific field for money. Everything he does is charged an up-sell fee, example: for private cremation costs more, for traveling to you costs more, for everything there is a nickle and dime fee. Don't recommend this business.

I could not have asked for a better person to come to my door. I knew my cat did not have long and I did not want him to experience the painful death my other cat had and Dr. Dan made himself available immediately. He was incredibly kind, patient, and gentle for the last moments that I got to share with my guy.

They were great very friendly and helpful.. they got a heart of gold taking care of your pet. They make sure your fine as well and they make a mode of my shepherd or your loved ones foot and a lock of hair..

Without question the most difficult decision I’ve ever made in my entire life. The heartbreak is something only a dog owner will understand. It’s something I never wanted to think about and as dog owners we tend to be selfish and want to keep them around forever. Our boy was 11 and having difficulty with his hips along with other aging conditions. While I understand this is a business not once did it ever feel like a business transaction. Dr. Dan was very comforting and empathetic. His voice was always calm and reassuring and I got a good vibe from him, and so did Luke our baby boy. He treated Luke with so much respect and care and I am proud to have been with him every step of the way. We received a beautiful urn and beautiful card with Luke’s paw print. They exceeded our expectations and I absolutely recommend should you ever need these services. We love our dog and will never stop loving him! Thank you Gentle Sleep you helped our boy cross the rainbow bridge.

Dr. Dan is so compassionate, easily builds rapport and and builds connections, but also very reassuring you're making the right decision. It's a difficult time when you have to call upon him, but being able to send our beloved Pug, Bob, over the rainbow bridge at home with no stress was a blessing.

Dr. Dan was respectful, helpful and caring. He explained everything before hand, included our children at their level, and made a difficult and painful situation manageable for all. It was worth the extra amount to do this in the privacy of our home.

Dr. Dan was incredible with our family and the care of our sweet Sonya as she peacefully took her last breathe on this Earth and on to heaven. We have a 4 year old and 2 year old and Dr. Dan was great with our children explaining what was going to happen with our Pup. I can't express how much it meant to us. This was a great service, I highly recommend l.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Dan and how he made such a difficult thing so very easy for my family. I called him, tearfully, to make an appointment for the next day for my beloved 17 year old cat, Marilyn. He patiently discussed her situation and his process with me and I felt at ease with the decision. Unfortunately, she took a turn within a few hours (I guess she knew she didn't have to fight anymore) and I had to call him back to see if he could actually come by sooner. Dr. Dan said he'd just gotten home (across the city from me, at 4PM) but he would head over soon to help Marilyn. He showed up within 45 minutes, texted me as requested so I could keep our dog calm, and was just so compassionate through the whole process. I could not ask for a more peaceful and simple transition for Marilyn. We opted to have her cremated and Dr. Dan took care of everything with that as well. I would recommend Gentle Sleep to anyone seeking solace for their companions and peace of mind for themselves. We are grateful.
