Marta did a wonderful job on my wedding dress alterations! I had 3 fittings in total, which I took my dress home on the 3rd fitting. I had my dress hemmed, a bustle added, the straps shortened, and the chest area taken in. It fit me perfectly when she was finished! She is very nice and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Marta was recommended by a friend, and she did not disappoint! She knows what she is doing, and altered my wedding dress to fit to perfection. I have since recommended to other friends who have been equally happy with her work ! Great work for a reasonable price ?

Marta is truly the best! She did an amazing job with my wedding dress and overskirt and they turned out perfect. She was so easy to work with, detail oriented and quick to respond to emails. She listened to my requests but also provided expert guidance and suggestions. She suggested adding buttons from the trimmed overskirt to the back of my dress to create continuity and it turned out beautiful. I would highly recommend any bride in the area to work with Marta for alterations! Thank you!

Marta is absolutely amazing! She is so skilled and pays attention to every little detail (which I love!). My dress needed to be hemmed (there were 8 layers of material that she had to work through!), a bustle was added, and it had to be altered a little bit in a few places (bust, waist, straps) to make it fit better to my figure. Marta was so kind and patient, I felt very comfortable working with her, and she explained everything she was doing. She gave great advice on adjustments to make and made sure I was happy with all of the alterations. After she was done it truly looked amazing and I was so excited to wear it on my wedding day! She even helped me take a video of the bustling process so I could show it to my mom and sister to help on wedding day (since they live out of state and couldn't attend the appointments). I'm so glad I found Marta and chose her for my wedding dress alterations. I highly recommend Marta for any of your alterations needs!

Marta is a very talented seamstress! She does the alterations out of her home. At first I was kind of sketched out about that but after the first visit, I actually really liked it. She has a cash register setup and all. Marta helped me make a video as to how to bustle the dress so I could show my bridesmaids which was very handy on the day! My dress fit like a glove and my husband couldn’t look away! She truly enhanced the way I already felt in my dress before alterations. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Marta for wedding dress alterations!

Marta is an incredibly gifted seamstress. She is a wonderful, kind, and patient person who is highly skilled at her craft. Because of Marta, both my sister and I were able to get married in our mom’s wedding dress. She masterfully handled delicate lacing and vintage fabric, bringing our very different visions to life. My mom’s dress was during the Princess Diana puff sleeve wedding dress era. For my sister, Marta removed the puff sleeves and turned the top of the dress into a gorgeous, intricately detailed halter. My sister wanted a princess-style full skirt and I wanted a fit and flare and she was able to attain both looks for us. The dress has a cathedral train that she was able to bustle beautifully with just one button. She is truly an magician. Don’t look anywhere else. She listens to your vision and is straightforward about what is realistic given the fabric, while doing everything in her power to give you the look you’re after. No matter the age of the piece, fabric or type of garment, Marta is able to get the job done artfully. Thank you so much, Marta! What a treasure you have given us!
